Debate Thread for Caylee is alive

Okay, I don't have much.
Here's what I have saying that Caylee is dead.
1. The statements made by LE.
2. The fact that Casey says she is alive.
3. The amount of time between her disappearance and report.
4. The friends statements saying that Casey was behaving normally after Caylee was gone.
5. The decomp smell.
6. The lies, the endless freakin lies.

Here's what I have that suggest she may be alive:
1. The fact that smells and air tests don't show whose bod was present.
2. The discrepancies in the documents, that make some of them look a bit shady.
3. The fact that everyone interviewed (that we have heard of so far) says that they thought Casey was a good mom.
4. The statements made by the experts that they don't know much about anagen banding on hair.
5. The chloroform. (I know this shouldn't be a reason why I think Caylee is alive, but I just can't see Casey obtaining it herself. And there are further discrepancies about that from sources other than the Anthony's.)
6. Caylee's beauty and inelligence. Made her a pefrect target, especially with an unconcerned, unobservant parent.

As you can tell, I debate with myself on a daily basis.

I have seen many other posters say that the birthday video was what convinced them how much CA loved Caylee! So I guess it is one's own interpretation. If not wanting sticky icing in your hair or on your face makes one a BAD MOTHER, then that would include me because I HATE being messy more than anything. IMO she WAS having fun with Caylee and Cindy, I thought it was a normal, wonderful moment between the 3 of them.

I thought it showed how much CA was the "mom" and KC was like a big sister....

That video made me think that Cindy had more of a connection with Caylee than Casey did. I have never doubted that Cindy, George and Lee loves Caylee with all their might. I just don't follow their actions after the fact. But that's another thread.

I am honestly a fence-sitter, but do have a couple of relevant points re this topic:

The cadaver dogs - there are circumstances where they falsely hit, here are a couple of links to read about that.

The stain in the trunk: If the stain in the trunk were definitely decomp., wouldn't there be a homicide investigation, with or without a suspect? I understand about the speedy trial and discovery, but can't LE conduct a H.I. without arresting Casey first?

There would be no need for air testing if the stain was definitely decomp. Any body fluid yields DNA, although possibly degraded due to environmental conditions - the fluid itself would decompose, and doesn't necessarily indicate the person was dead. I hesitate to mention this, because I can't say it without doubt, but I thought I heard one of the spokespersons mention the stain contained amylase. I can't find it now, but another poster thought they heard something similar, mentioning epithilial cells, I don't think they found it either. This to me suggests vomit, which can go its own direction re chloroform.

I'm also new and a very slow poster, so pardon if I'm butting in somewhere.

It is highly unlikely that two different cadaver dogs would hit in the exact same spots.

It's pretty simple, in my opinion. Think about this:

Casey has NEVER called any "nanny". Ever. Cindy has her phone records, LE has her phone records.

If there had EVER been a nanny, there would be calls between her and Casey, for the last several months if not even the last couple years. Emails or chat too, as Casey lied about.

I am absolutely positive that LE, as well as Cindy, has checked out every single number Casey has called or been called from over the last several months (at least). If there were ANYTHING even remotely interesting, both LE and Cindy would have checked it out by now.

LE did a forensic exam of her computer. If there were ANY conversations between Casey and a nanny, I think we would know about it by now and LE would be investigating.

Nothing. Cindy knows this, but will not publicly admit it. Nancy Grace even called her on it, and Cindy had no answer and has not been on since.

No nanny, no kidnapping, all a lie to cover up what really happened. Why would ANY mother lie like this, if she really wanted her child found?

You could surmise that Casey sold her, or even hid her to keep her away from Cindy - but then there's that big elephant in the trunk. And that's not going away.

Yes but if you recall Cindy her self stated she introduced LE to TM ( TES ) as they didn't know of them .

I don't know if they could discern bodies - I think if they were rescue dogs they could be put on a scent.

It just seems that if LE were confident about the dogs hitting the back yard, they'd have dug. I know they took soil samples, I haven't heard anything more about them.

IIRC, Cindy herself stated that she called in TES to "Satisfy the maggots". Meaning the media, as they were getting on her to help with the search effort.

Also the fact that Cindy and George initially were following up on the tips, then something happened. They stopped looking. Cindy was quoted as saying to leave them alone and let them "grieve" which isn't said when you're looking for a living child.

I believe they have investigated what Casey said and debunked each and every lie she told, but it's harder to admit in the public eye because that would be vilifying their own daughter.

I can't ignore LE's statements about the findings and testing in the trunk, nor can I ignore the fact that Caylee is still missing.

There is big money out there to be had.

In my original theory in re NG I posited that Casey could have transported the murder weapon. IMO, that would explain the three seperate hits in the backyard. You could imagine a person moving a hammer or something like that around, maybe in an effort to decide where to bury it. We know from media reports that NG murder scene was "horrific". Any murder weapon would necessarily contain a lot of forensic evidence.(this would also apply to clothing or other, smaller items items containing forensic evidence)

I believe LE and CSI checked out/dug the grounds thoroughly on each hit the dogs gave, including places that looked to be disturbed.

Totally!!! The Anthonys changed--it went from Find Caylee to Save Casey! When was this? I would say right after the Body Farm results . . .

Also, if Cindy and George believe that Caylee is alive then why did they close down the trust fund for finding Caylee?

I'm finding it very hard though to ignore what LE has leaked with the body farm, forensics, the death band on the hair and so forth.

Not to mention that Casey acts like she doesn't care. "That's all they care about is finding Caylee"... She even acts irritated. I can't overlook her attitude.

But with this theory....Casey is knowlingly leaving Caylee with a murderer. If this had happened don't you think she would have told the police by now. Look how long it's been.

But KC may not have left her with a murderer but someone she thinks will keep her safe.

I don't doubt they have evidence from the body farm, forensics, the death band on the hair. The question is, is it really from Caylee? That is what I keep coming back to.

Excellent point!!! But why would Casey have the murder weapon which killed NG in Blanchard Park?

I think it was right after those results. Of course, they have their hollow shell of a daughter sitting there day in and day out, not saying a word. I'm sure her refusal to produce Caylee has altered their thinking. It would have to.
