Thanks for the link Nina. On Oct 6 JI said this. This is o/t I'm sorry, but I'm searching for the MK Effexor video, and I stumbled upon this. I can't believe I haven't seen it before. It's a phone interview with JI from Oct6th on FOX.
http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/10/0...irwin-speaks-out-pleads-for-daughters-return/
Irwin said he noticed first that the front door was unlocked, that most of the lights were on in the front room of the house, and that one of the front windows was open all things which were cause for alarm.
I'll give it to DB...she is a good actress.
It was previously reported (by DB herself) that only one child was in the bed. But then JI made his statement that he checked on the boys and so then they had to figure out how to change that story to make it match up. I don't care what anyone says, THIS was a story change...and more than once.
I never heard a reliable source state that someone tried to access the Internet from one of the phones. I think that a lot of this is getting all mixed up, but then again, I myself get mixed up sometimes...sooooo....
I'm not doubting you...It's been so long I can't remember if we actually heard those words come out of her mouth or the media just reported that. I think it's also possible if she was really that drunk that she doesn't remember going to be with the boys as one boy had already went back to his bed and one boy was in the bed and Jeremy carried him back to bed (per Dr. Phil show). That seems reasonable to me.
Re: accessing the internet from the phone. That was on Dr. Phil. I don't believe it would be something that was made up. Dr. Phil said it had been verified by Verizon.

Not that all the lights in the house were on, but most of the lights in the front room. That was one of the big deals with the Dr Phil Show interview. That "all the lights were on" changed to a certain amount that were on. Thanks Nina.
I also found this explanation entirely plausible. If Jeremy was normally the one to turn off the lights and was more conscious about the lights, it would only make sense to wonder why all the lights were on when he was accustomed to them being off. I know I am the light turner offer in my house and there are times when come home and ask "why are all the lights on" when really it might just be the kitchen lights and bathroom light, but also because nobody is using those rooms. I also know I've repeated that same phrase to my kids thousands of times "why are all these lights on?!" It's never been every literal light in the house.
The lights, the front door unlocked, and the window being left open could easily be explained away by the fact that she was drunk.

IIRC She stated that people saying that ALL of the lights being on was the exaggeration. She claimed to Dr. Phil that it was a total exaggeration that lights were on.

That any lights were on?
All lights.
“When he came into the house that morning and said all the lights were on in the house," Bradley continued, "it was a total exaggeration.”
