Yup-- 7:24 am central time the little ones were served breakfast. It's now 7:37 and the father (I believe) is back sitting on top of the eaglets. I'm signing off for the morning -- have to get ready for work. Have a great day eagle watching!

Mom has the babies all tucked in and seems to nod off evry once in awhile. The wind is still blowing her feathers. Poor Mom.

I checked on them around 12:30 and she had her head tucked in and her wings spread over. I've never seen her in that position before and it startled me. The wind was whiping her feathers everywhere. I'm so glad they made it through the night

Yes there are three babies...I have just seen all three Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:great:

Momma flew from the nest leaving the babies in the nest.
She flew back to the nest for a quick glance to make sure they were OK then she flew away again for a few moments...came back with a fish and fed them and now all three are tucked under Momma.

Has anyone seen Daddy?
LOL Daddy's at the nest now :O)

Earlier this morning when I could get in the chat one of the mods said the food is there, it's just covered up. Mom and Pop added extra twigs last night and this morning to the nest. Also built up around the bowl. As you can tell the bowl seems deeper. They said Mom layed on babies most all night and had her back turned against the wind.

That's okay nana, I just went to check to see if I had a life and I didn't.

We had no storms in our area last night. I hope our Wisconsin members check in!!
The radar showed a lot of red in their area. I don't know if there was any tornado activity or not though.

They just said on the news that NE Iowa is due to be hit with Snow and ice on friday.

I'll be curious to see how mamma and daddy eagle deal with that in the middle of april

I've noticed they are sticking closer to Mom in the wind. Or else the parents made the bowl so deep they cannot wander around! LOL
