Wow, poor mum is panting. I wonder what that means? Mind you if that storm was heading at me I'd have my tongue out too.

The wind is really strong now. The tree and nest were moving. I sure hope those little guys can't blow out of the nest.

Most of the north part of Iowa is now under tornado warnings, there is 3 seperate tornado causing storms moving across the top seem to be about an hour or less apart. unless they start heading SE or NE Decorah is in line for all of them..

I keep watching the radar-- maybe they are southeast of Decorah?

The fish hatchery which is where the eagles are, is 2 miles South of decorah

Here's the storm tracking map. It looks like the cells are traveling north east. The one large cell looks to be west of Decorah. http://tinyurl.com/3md2gaw

Well, I think they are okay for now-- I am impressed at her ability to wrangle them all in and hunker down. It looks like she's sitting pretty heavy! lol

They are escaping LOL

  • #279
I think that the lighting and thunder are scaring them....

It's good to see that they're doing well with their own body heat alone. They are kind of getting too big for that bossom. Mama still looks wary. My prayers to all those people and creatures that are getting hammered by these cells. It must be frightening.
