Deputy Involved In Caylee Tip removed from Patrol duties

  • #41
that's a lot of complaints in a short period of time.
there are just some cops that shouldn't be cops. plain and simple. IMO

:cow: moo

Am I missing something ?? I see nothing to these so-called complaints & apparently neither did OCSO.....

Quote:
No sheriff's policies were violated in the incident and the complaint was dropped, according to the report.

Quote:
Schuss did not return calls made by the deputy assigned to the allegations against Cain. Deputies determined the complaint was unjustified.

I think they disciplined him in a way only to keep him out of the media. I don't think this guy will be fired over someone saying he was rude. They are just keeping the media off of him, thats all..when this is all over, he will get his badge back, his gun, and his patrol car. JMHO

I have two questions:

- The officer was not removed from duty until Kronk went public. Are these two events related? Why was the officer not removed from duty sooner after Dec 11?

- From my own professional experience, I would say that when something goes wrong like this, it's most often not the responsibility of just one person. It's usually more than one person who should have done something differently. Is this officer taking the fall for everybody who should have done better?

I had a feeling when hearing of Kronk's call that he was probably treated very badly by someone and told to quit calling. I've read that the officer was very rude, and I think he should be totally fired since he's had other complaints and there is no mistaking what happened. Anyone with a brain should know that the area should have been totally checked out, every inch of it, snakes or not. If there were still so many bags, there's no way the area was checked out thoroughly. Kronk was plain from his calls that there was something white and round and it did not look right. Duh....... Thank God Kronk stewed over it, didn't just whine and give up. Hopefully a murderer won't get less time or even get off scott free because of this officer with a big problem.

I'm still on the fence re: the MR's complaint about Cain (waiting for the outcome of OCSO investigation)

Did you read the other 'complaints' in post # 28 ??

1. I don't think any local LE offers up 'personal protection' to citizens over a 'threating phone call'.

2. "Failure to identify" ??......Every (uniformed) cop I know has their name clearly visiable on their badge. What about the second dep. did he not 'identify' himself either ??

I'm begining to think the defense had their own *sources* within the media..

I know the only "game plan" the defense has is to dis-credit prosecution witnesses/edvidence @ trial.....but here it seems to be done daily in the papers/media.

I'll make a prediction based on your prediction being accurate: He will sue for wrongful termination.

I am assuming that there is no list of complaints against him other than these...

I'm with you....if these are *all* the complaints against this deputy, he's the one that should be suing....somebody.
