Wow, just got a FB message from my mom. My aunt spent the night in Aurora, right near the theater, while on travel. She lives in MN. I would have never thought that she would be near there.

I have a friend who lives there and have been there myself to see her. I was thankful she let me know first thing this AM that she was okay. She still doesn't know if any of her friends were harmed, though.

Still waiting for presser. Meanwhile, I had an A/C service guy here earlier and asked if he'd heard about the CO shooting. He said that "(he) didn't know what was going on in the world today and how someone from (his) generation could do what the shooter did." I thought tech was older (he's 26) based on his level of maturity. I told him that I'd continue to watch this major news coverage until the presser and then would leave it for a while. A/C guy told me "not to let it get to me."

CNN is reporting that Federal Officials are saying that there are no bombs at the apartment.

Another federal official said they did take more time to try to get a search warrant to go into the apartment.

Also said federal officials are not in control of the scene, local officials are in control.

Not sure I'd say "normal" the smile is forced and has a strange look to him then.
I know hs pictures can always look weird or forced.
I'd like to see snapshots with friends and relaxed to compare.

The link worked for me. I seen his father on the live feed with his sons picture and it just broke my heart.

I wouldn't know. The article was on a General news website. I read the headline. But never clicked the article to read it. I searched now - the news site has a new article today referencing how Rotten Tomatoes was suspending comments . But when I try to find the original -
I receive an error.

A thought just crossed my mind after absorbing all of this nightmare. Gunman obviously was very bright if not brilliant. I wish we had answers. Why did he have to choose this path? I guess if i had a concrete answer I would win the Nobel Peace Prize :banghead:

I'm sure by now it is known whether he was among the dead or injured or that he is alive and safe. It's been so many hours already.

Has anyone found a fb for him? I'm wondering about schizophrenia. Young adult intelligent no violent history...this is the age and intelligence level it sets in. Just a thought trying to find something in this senseless situation
