WOOOOW...that's the opening scene to the second Batman movie. The Joker enters the bank by throwing in tear gas, walks in with gas mask on and shoots at the ceiling.

My condolensces to the family/friends of those that lost their life to this sensless tragedy.

Heard a news report, the suspect had been acting out scenes of the movie.

Local 9News still trying to find out where the "Joker" comment came from. It originally came from NYPD Police Chief - he did not site any sources. And they stress that no witnesses have said that.

Guys, have we heard anything else about the guy that took a phone call and opened the exit door? He may not have been another shooter, however he could have been an accomplice. Have the police stated anything to this, I know they stated that there is no second shooter, but I would really like them to address that issue as far as him opening the exit door, then standing there and waiting, then going back to his seat.. It sounds like the shooter called him, and for whatever reason the shooter was delayed in getting in that door.

Seek&Find, Oh I'm so glad your friend didn't let her grandson go to the movie with his friends. I'm also so sorry to hear that one of his friends is in the hospital due to this shooting.

I hope they locate the other friends that are unaccounted for as well!

Several witnesses have talked about this, but police maintain there were no other shooters. It could have actually been the shooter himself.

My son and his friends went to the midnight screening out here last night. This is heartbreaking for me to think about the families of these murdered movie goers. And the little children? WHY did he shoot little children? I will never understand that.

Not sure I'd say "normal" the smile is forced and has a strange look to him then.
I know hs pictures can always look weird or forced.
I'd like to see snapshots with friends and relaxed to compare.

His eyes are off, looks like he has a lazy right eye. He also seems to have what is called the "thousand yard stare" you see in brainwashed cult members and the like, it is also common with people who have serious mentall illness or psychotic breaks.

I have never heard Governor Hickenlooper speak before but he sounds like his voice is wavering, cracking a little.

Made me a little more sad.

12:39 p.m., first calls. LE on scene in roughly a minute, a minute and a half. He had an assault rifle, a shotgun, and two Glocks.

71 people were shot, 59 wounded; 12 "are deceased," ten at crime scene, two at area hospitals. Bodies still at crime scene.
