Can you disprove any prima facie evidence of murder by intruder? Can you prove JR and PR lied? Can you prove the DNA isn't related? Can you prove PR misspelled advise on purpose or accidentally?
Yes, we can prove they lied about Burke being in bed during the 911 call.

Note to Chrishope: Misspelling advise is obscure prima facie evidence of murder by intruder, not discovered until years later.

Not really, because, on the face of it, it's hard to believe a journalism major can't spell advise. On the face of it, it appears she misspelled deliberately.

Exactly. I Googled the word advise..and it is a fourth grade spelling word, but yet a 40 yr. old Journalism Major couldn't spell it...

Where did you hear this? Far as I know, the enhanced version has never been made public. The only public recording has been from a third- or fourth-generation copy. Lawrence Schiller remarked on that in 2003:

SCHILLER: The tapes that NBC saw and the tapes that other people recently saw are not first generation or original tapes. They’re third and fourth generation tapes and that’s where the difference is.

Michael Kane then followed up:

KANE: ... I can tell you, I listened to that tape, and there are people’s voices after Patsy Ramsey says “hurry, hurry, hurry.”

I actually heard that enhanced tape played on "Geraldo", and a boy's voice (I assume was Burkes) was as clear as a bell. "What did you find?" And then John: "we are not speaking to you". I heard it with my own ears. Original,Third, fourth, fifth generation tape or not....it was there.

JR's description of the "thief" that robbed the Atlanta house is astounding. Did he see him? Watch him break in? See him run away? Confront him in the middle of it? I mean- how the h*** did he know WHAT he looked like.

IMO, that was ALSO a lie!

If you must know, supposedly he came home, caught the guy in the act, then locked himself in the bathroom and screamed like a girl until he left!

And I don't believe his story for a second.

The RN was written in a rushed, frantic situation and with it being 3 pages long I doubt Patsy could later remember exactly which words she wrote correctly and which words she didn't (because she would have chosen to misspell some words on the RN in order to further point suspicion towards that foreign faction) ,,,especially since her mind was probably really clouded with meds during all the weeks after the murder. When writing the first sample for LE she hit and missed with guesses as to which words she misspelled in the RN but apparently got her thoughts straight enough during/after the first writing sample to remember which words she misspelled in the first writing sample and then remained consistent in those from there on out when doing 2nd and 3rd writing samples.

Patsy was a Journalism Major, who graduated with Honors, advise is a fourth grade spelling word. So, it makes sense that she mispelled the word, in her sample RN, because she was heavily medicated.

Hi Ames.

I've been reading around re the 911 call aired on Geraldo, and finally, someone who 'heard' those words. Did anyone 'seen' the original Geraldo episode?

Hey, I don't know if anyone's noticed, but Holdon's been awfully quiet lately.

I wonder where he is.

Maybe he's researching what I said about circumstantial cases. If he is, he'll see I'm right.

I'd like to think he's doing his research on how badly the DA acted (and continues to act) in this case.

I'm hoping he's looking up the possibly devastating effects of experimental drugs on a person's mind.

But something tells me it's none of those things.

Yep, I did. I saw it and heard the tape played on there. But, it has since disappeared. There is another poster on here that also saw it, I can't remember who it is, though. I am thinking that it is SuperDave. SD correct me if I am wrong, please.

I dunno, but he seemed to disappear right before the election, and hasn't been seen since, unless that is just a coincidence (?)

seems like other idi's tend to show up when he's not around...

Ames, I hate like he** to be the one to tell you this, but not only did I not see that, I'm pretty sure the actual tape was never aired on "Geraldo." What you heard was probably a re-enactment.

I'm sorry.

It was RiverRat that saw and heard it. If it was a re-enactment, then why didn't they say it was? I watched the whole show, and it was stated that it was the actual tape enhancement that was going to be played. It was Patsy's voice and John's voice...I don't know what Burke sounds like or sounded like then...because I had never heard him speak before.

From a Nov 2000 chat room discussion which had Steve Thomas as a guest:
stevethomas: I heard the 911 tape. repeatedly, as did the other detectives. the consensus was unanimous, as supported by the enhancement -- there is a 3rd voice on the tape, appears to be Burke (unless there was someone else present who has never been identified...)
....

crimeADM: A follow-up to the 911 question: Many people swear they heard the tape on one talk-show or another. Is there any possibility that this happened?

stevethomas: as far as i know, the only people who heard the tape were involved in the investigation -- da's office people, bpd personnel, engineers who enhanced it. if someone is out on the talk shows saying they heard it, who is this/these person(s)?
