Discussion about Skyline, the groundskeeper, trucks - Looking for Clues

  • #61
Yes it is correct in lining up the bldg with the compass. But it is also confusing because the building is almost square with Skyline Rd. And the NW, SW, SE and NE corners of the building are still those same corners.

I guess what I'm trying to say is STEADFAST's accurate diagram shows the building as 'due' where as it doesn't lie 'due'. It was not built to 'due' direction. Hope that makes sense.

You've been over there, I take it? I wish there was a way to explain how it lays with the way the roads are too. I worry that directions given in the MSM might not be what we are seeing in relation to true directions.

What's that electric looking thing with the electric looking cord coming down from it?

Let me know if this blows the margins and I'll put up a link instead.

This is looking from the side door going out to the little garden beds. It goes down to the field. You can see the other set of stairs down the way if you look read hard.

This is facing south-ish. haha. The middle left part of the pic is toward the access road.

Exactly. For all we know right now, Kyron may have been one of the flower bed kids.

Oh, gee. I just concluded that he couldn't be (up thread). Can you help me understand your thinking? I think I'm missing something and I like the way you think things through.

Please, is that electric? Could that be the electricity project?

  • #65
I don't think it was TP ....

ITA and don't think that came from TP either.

As per his interview with KOIN, the last time he saw Kyron was when they passed each other by their classroom, TP heading down the stairs to the 1st floor and Kyron walking down the hall to the electrical exhibit.

It looks like a bird feeder, but I have no idea what the big wire thingy is.

Perhaps it's something to keep deer and other animals away.

I don't remember! I thought the high thing was an above ground sprinkler system but now I'm not sure. I didn't check it out closely when I was there. I'll see if we can get Free or PDX in here and maybe one of them knows for sure.

Well, I can connect again, but now I'm too tired tonight to read the whole thread!

Here's how I interpret this in regard to me wondering if Kyron was one of the children the GK saw. If he was mowing until 8:30 or so, I think he saw the children outside prior to 8:30. He seemed concerned about them wanting to play soccer. Once he was done mowing, I can't see why he'd care about them coming onto the field while he was loading up and leaving. So, it seems unlikely to me now that Kyron was one of the children that GK saw outside during his actual mowing, which is something I was wondering. There are just too many indoor sightings reported post 8:30 for me to think he was one of the children the GK saw. Sorry if I was the only one wondering all of this and this was already discussed.

I don't really understand why it would take 30 minutes to load up mower, though. 15 even.

Insert little moo cows.

No, Lavendar you are not the only one interested in what you are speaking of... And I too know your pain of not being able to connect.. Its been this way all night for me too :)

BeanE, I have several copper hangers in my yard. They look very much like that hook thing with the wood box on it (minus the wood box; I have citron lamps hanging from the hooks).

It could be a water line to a bird feeder, but when I looked at it earlier, my first thought was that it was electric, and I wasn't even thinking of the electric project.

But now I'm wondering if that's the electric project. Even if it's a water line, if I thought it looked electric, a 7 year old might too.

Great. I just realized my mind works like a 7 year old's. :)

It's a shepherd's hook if I'm not mistaken... I've got them all in my flower beds

Hi, Yes, and I parked right across the street in the church parking lot looking square on and directly across from the east end of the Wall of Hope.

When one looks at a map of the bldg that is tilted to show it lining up with the compass it is deceiving because it really sits square with the road as a visual to the eye. In other words, that SW corner top left school room window is not set back further on the land than the other front windows of the bldg as it appears to be in STEADFAST's diagram. The SE corner of the bldg is not closer to the road. Both corners are square with the road.

If you were standing in front of the church looking at the school you would never dream the bldg was not oriented to true direction. They designed it to line up with the road as they did the church. Hope that helps.

Okay I think I'm seeing it now. It's not a cord, not connected to the box? It looked connected to me. But that could be lighting or my poor vision.

TY for your input, Lavender!

The GK's timeline & *amended* timeline that I was referencing was not in regards to when the kids came out & looked @ the raised plant beds, but was in reference to whether or not the GK was still on campus or in proximity to the all-important soccer field access road where he parked his White Ford Truck and where he said that if the Horman truck had been parked there [when he arrived or when he was packing up & leaving] he says he would have seen it and, in addition, if the Horman truck had been parked there when the GK was either coming or going - it would have blocked his access, according to the GK's statements.

I see a Mason bee house (Mason bees pollinate flowering plants & many people in the PNW install *houses* for them), that is attached to an artistic-looking rusty wrought iron curvy thing.

I don't think it's electric.

IIRC, the rod iron curvy thing is a shepherd's hook.

I keep looking for Free, PDX or Gwenabob. LOL! Hold on and I'll see if one of them has a better pic.

This shows how it looks going down from the side of the school where the garden is down to the soccer field. I think this is the staircase that is showing on my pic above, which is down from the garden. There's a set of stairs like this closer to the garden, too.
