One of the biggest factors too is FamilyTreeDNA. In regards to the Allegan co John Doe there is actually two Namus entries associated with the same individual, there was also a femur bone found in November 2013 which was later associated with the skull. The femur bone was found in the Silver Lake State Park, also along the Michigan Lake.
