To Everyone who is having a problem when you click on "Quick Links". Please describe Exactly what happens when you click on the link.

I know it's not working for you but we need to know exactly what happens when you click on it OK?

Also please tell us if you are using an iPad, Desktop, Laptop, Phone, or some other hardware when you click on the Quick Links link.

The Quick Links and Forum Rules will not let me click on them.... at least not on iPad.

Change always take take time to adjust. At least, it usually does for me. Maybe it will feel more "normal" in a short time, Trident.

I'm an old gal who doesn't like change, but I like the clean look. I adjusted the brightness on my iPad which helped. IMO, 'HOT' could be changed to 'POPULAR' or 'UPDATE', or something that doesn't look so National Enquirer-ish. Nice work.

I'm still seeing the option to choose between mobile or regular desktop. If you want to switch back on the lower left choose the option that has 2015 in it.

The Amber Alert does scroll over other print and is unreadable.

The Advanced Search tab is crowded over the Quick Links tab.

Don't care for "Hot" either.

Wow, I think I am only who has no problem to read now, actually quite opposite, everything is absolutely humongous. Not just font of letters, but every post here. Literally, every post takes whole page and I am on laptop.

I have new format open and also old one (I did not refresh that page yet), and actually do not see any difference between background colour, however what is different for me between two is underlining of absolutely everything in new format. Main page with all threads showing is impossible to read as there is sooo much happening and all I can see are the underlines everywhere and not what is actually written. I see on old format, threads were not underlined and also blue colour of the threads was quite softer for the eyes and it just all looked smoother and easier to read. (I guess strong blue colours come now due to different font).

I am in favour of any improvements, but please please do take underlining away so we are able to read.

Some of the comments may be hardware related. Myself, I often use a 15 inch MacBook Pro -- so my screen size and resolution are ok. I have to add that I'm probably a bit younger than what I think the median and modal members are here...just the same, I could imagine, if anyone is seeing the pages as I am, that the screen length seems long to some. I would imagine that some people find it difficult to track so many text characters across a screen. Of course, there are ways a member can change the text size, and so on, but I'm just throwing this out there.

On the upside:
-- I think this all looks clean, although I can imagine the white background could be loud for some. I wouldn't complain if it went a shade back to gray.
-- I don't get the hot stories/subforums stuff at the top, but I could imagine that they are useful to your page, to this isn't a complaint.
-- I think that the streamer/ticker strip at the top will be popular in time.
-- I think that many people here will have complaints about the changes, just because they were used to a different version of Websleuths, but they will warm to this format in time.

I mostly use my iPad and when I click the link it does absolutely nothing.... I keep pressing on the link over and over, it just stays the same as before I touched it. I checked in my PC and it is working fine there.

At first I was like "no change! I hate it"
But it is actually way easier for me to read.

I want to like the changes because I'm sure a lot of work went into it. I'm on an iPad , to make it easier I'll just list the issues I'm having.....
Amber alert bar looks like it's scrolling over other writing
Inability to enlarge the page without having to scroll sideways
Everything just seems smaller (?). Or maybe it's mostly a narrower font?
I'm not sure if it's the white background or what but something is bothering my eyes. I've darkened my screen and it's still not helping.
The forum just seems to have a very busy look to it.
This is all on an iPad. Hopefully with a little tweaking I'll love WS again.
