Dog the Bounty Hunter #2

I don't know if he did or didn't; however, I agree. Why make a mountain out of a molehill?

are you serious? I mean really? Because I have to say, I'm speechless...

And I think his son selling him out like this is just as bad as Dog using the 'n' word.

*pulls up his chair and a bowl of popcorn*

That statement should get you some nice responses. ;)

Dog's allowed to have private conversations with his own child. Heaven forbid all our private conversations were suddenly made public. Some things should be kept private and Tucker was wrong. This is the kid who just got out of prison. I remember seeing a talk show where Dog & Beth were talking about having to use tough love with Tucker, sounds like he's been a constant source of trouble with them. Do I use the "n" word? Nope, and I wouldn't allow my children to either. Then again, I'm a PTA mom not an ex-convict bounty hunter who deals with criminals everyday. I just think Dog comes from a different walk of life.

This kid just got out of prison??!! Wow! I wonder why the media makes no mention that it was unethical (if not illegal) to secretly tape this private conversation? I wonder why the media doesn't mention this kid's background? Why not give the public the entire story?

I agree with you...Heaven forbid if all of our conversations were suddenly made public...

I've said things in private that I'd be mortified to say in public. We should be allowed to voice our honest thoughts in private. This has not one thing to do with Dog's TV show and he shouldn't be punished by the network.

Heres a little background on Tucker.

He has recently been released from the Diamondback Correctional Facility in Oklahoma after admitting armed robbery when he was 18 years old. Although the gun was a BB gun thre victim was made to think it was real and Tucker received a 20 year sentence. He was high on drugs at the time.He went to jail in June 2002 and was released in 2006.

Rumour has it he is back on the drugs too sadly.

He is unable to bounty hunt with the rest of the crew due to his conviction but could be seen on many of the episodes helping out in the office (he is the one with the extremely chiselled looking face and worrying ratstail).

A few months ago he was posting on DTBH forums trying to get pics of himself removed of him in 'compromising positions' with girlies!!

Most, if not all, of the posters on here have stated that what Dog said was wrong. Who would condone such a thing??? My point is that, yes, it's wrong. He shouldn't have said it. It's crude and insensitive language. BUT he shouldn't lose his show over it. And I think his son selling him out like this is just as bad as Dog using the 'n' word.

He got exactly what he deserved, I hope they do yank his show for good.

For him to routinely use it in front of his son and his girlfriend is the ultimate in disrespect. I can't even imagine! Talk about hurtful, hateful and mean..........

Bottom line, he knew it could be his downfall and his answer to the problem wasn't to contol his OWN mouth, he was threatening his flesh & blood over HIS OWN bad behavior.

Then perhaps you shouldn't be saying those things at all:waitasec:

I totally agree.

Different people are offended by different things. I know I have a very dry sense of humor. A lot of people don't think the things I say are funny. I find them hysterical. It's a matter of opinion.

Linda-

You don't say things in private that you wouldn't proclaim to the world?

Ntegrity was just being honest. Kudos to you, Ntegrity, for saying what's true for many people.

**I have never used the "n" word and I never will.

There's things I say in private that I don't say in public. For instance, I curse like a sailor and while I'm NOT proud of it and it's not right, I'm honest enough to admit it. But I wouldn't talk like that in front of my preacher or grandmother.

Kudos to those of you who are perfect and have never said or done anything that you're not proud of. Especially in the privacy of your own home.

Nope, not that I recall. I'm a rather blunt and brutally honest person. I may THINK things, but no one will hear them come out of my mouth. I may share confidences with friends that I would prefer remain between us but I wouldn't loose sleep over anything I've said...it will all have been true.

While what he said was horrible, if you have EVER fought with a teenager for a period of a month over dating a person you feel is a true threat to their well being...or as in this case...your wife's life included...you might say some very ugly things to "shake" them into listening. The frustration level grows and you can finally lose it. I think this is what happened here.

This was a deliberate attack on his father to discredit him and to ruin his livelyhood because he was jealous of the rest of the family. Tucker not being able to hunt was a huge problem for his ego. The real problem wasn't the gf. The real problem was his need for retalliation against his father...which includes dating trash just to get back at him on some level. I have a feeling the girl probably had been dragging him back into a lifestyle that Dog did not want to see and Dog finally flipped out on him.

If I were Dog, I would disown the little piece of carp! You do not turn on family for any reason.

Amen to that SS. Anyone who watches the show knows that Tucker is trouble. And any son who would sell out his father and family like this is disgusting.

Again, regardless of my feelings on the use of the "N" word, this was a private conversation between a son and his father. I do'nt really think its anyone else's business. Since when did we have to be politically correct in our own homes?

well, here's the thing. people do say stuff and you're going to just have to deal with them. and people have different senses of humor. you might think one thing is funny, I might be fuming over the exact same thing. For instance, when my friend had her baby (she lives in a different state and was telling me this) and the nurse had to deliver the baby for her because the doc didn't answer his pages or come quickly enough... and the doctor walked in (thinking he was just in time) and spouted off

"Lets deliver a... placenta?"

Did they laugh at THAT one? NO WAY!!! She's still ticked!!
Did I laugh when she told me that?
Yes! I laughed for an hour!!! I still think it is halarious!!
Morale of the story is that there is all kinds of people in this world and unfortunetly, we have to deal with all of them. Even the ones who are mean to others.

I thought what the doc said was funny, too. :o

pedinurse: That's exactly my point. Also, some people are more easily offended than others.
