Maybe I am mistaken, but where I am from

and n***er are two different things.
I'll for go the evolved discussion....that one cuts like a knife.
I'll for go the evolved discussion....that one cuts like a knife.
However.. the TRUTH of the matter is.. they DO want to be called that. Not all, but most, it seems. Again-- not the intelligent, educated, evolved people..... but all the rest. Those are the ones I have no sympathy for.
Justification for ignorance....Gotta love it!
Dang Gonzo, you certainly have a way of letting the air out of the balloon, and summarizing Dog for who he actually is. The way this thread was progressing, I was worried that Dog was going to become a deity.so, from reading this thread we've gone from:
- Dog didn't say those hateful things (story is a fake);
- the story is true but he didn't actually say what you think you heard (slanted "quotes" posted);
- he actually said all that, but it's not as hateful as it sounds (who doesn't talk like that);
- he did use the n-bomb along with assorted other profanity (but those words do not mean what you think they mean);
- what dog said was vile, but the son is to blame because he's a convicted felon (like his father);
- what dog said was vile, but it's really the girl friend's fault (she might have recorded him saying the same things);
- what dog said was vile, but the son is to blame (he recorded his father's racist rant);
- what dog said was vile, but hey, those rappers sometimes use the n-word (as if those dudes are role models for civil discourse);
...
- what dog said was vile, but he shouldn't lose his show ("free speech" and all);
I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
In "A Time to Kill", Grisham's character says "you don't see me as a man, you see me as a black man". People like this Dog are like that, they can't judge the character of a person because they cannot see beyond the colour of that person.
This idiot admits that if anyone heard the way they talk at home it would ruin his career, but they just can't help themselves even when visitors are present. Face it, the manÂ’s got nothing against n****rs, itÂ’s just that when thereÂ’s n****rs around he's going to say n****r, and he canÂ’t help himself. The creep and his inbred family would still be living in a white trash trailer park if not for that television show.

Well, I was aiming for a thread killer but under shot the target.
Herewith, allow me to express in the weakest terms available my abject condemnation of this racist, bigoted piece of white trash.
Maybe justice will be served if another of his sons brings Britney Spears home for Thanksgiving.
Let me bring back up what I said. (How many times has everyone neglected to comment?!) Let's ALL move beyond the past. Bury it and go forward. It did happen, but put it in our past instead of our present and future.I said this before on another thread and no one seemed to take notice (don't know if it is a good or bad thing).
Until we ALL forget about the past ills done by ALL of ancestors and move on...we will never get away from racism. Pure and simple. Let the ills be remembered in our History as horrible things which happened...then stop dredging it up constantly on any side. The very battle of if this or that smacks of racism creates MORE racism. We pass it to our children if only we are trying to prevent it this way. Enough already! Forget it or it can never be laid to rest and we can never go beyond it haunting us forever.
It is like carrying a grudge or a chip on your shoulder throughout our lives. Forgive and forget...move on and learn from it.

Has anyone taken this into mind: family aside, Dog took Tucker's job away from him based on a race issue. If Dog was not such a pop-culture piece, what Tucker did exposing things would have gathered him a load of support, praise and all kind of accolades... threads about his bravery for standing up to the racist employer and secretly recording the employer's nastiness would litter message boards far and wide... his actions would make for Hollywood movie types to offer up cash for his story... there would be Dateline pieces and Time magazine covers touting him as a hero for the little man, for taking on the big man and exposing the racism that cost him his job.
Family aside... pop culture deity aside... this would be a whole different story where Tucker was in the right.

Two people read and reacted. Hmmmm...keep reading...because you will soon see what I am talking about. : )I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, not everyone feels this way and they like to drudge up the past. Total shame, but that's just the way it seems to be. However, I'm with you...I wish everyone could just live in harmony.
