Cover, cover, cover. She doesn't even seem to care whether people actually believe her lies or not - if one fails or can be disputed, simply tell another one to cover it .
And, as seen in her Zenaida depo, when all else fails it becomes irrelevant. She's a piece-o-work.
Originally, I thought she'd derail herself at some stage but now it seems she's just going to keep going full tilt until there's no more to tell and she hits the big terminal bump-stops at the end of the line. ... sounds like someone else we know in the hallway at Universal
I'm waiting at the platform to see it.

To me Cindy is just as much of a pathological liar as her daughter except she may have been doing it even longer than Casey. And a pathological liar ALWAYS believes that people will believe their lies. It is like a craft they have fine tuned. They dont need to think about what they are going to say first.........the lie just comes forth no matter how ridiculous it may sound.

I think she is in the same mode she has been in. A PR mode in order to make herself and her daughter look better.

While she fools no one she certainly believes she is that good at lying and deceit and that it will be believed.

IMO

I keep forgetting to bring this up.
Remember when G was talking about how he had been investigated or whatever and went through everything even a voice anylisis? Well. NONE of the Anthony's took a lie detector test.

I am certain both the Anthony's lawyers and Lee's lawyer advised not to take a lie detector test. None of them were charged with a crime and no lawyer worth their salt would tell a client oh just go ahead - it won't hurt. Lie detectors don't stand up in court - there is no reason for someone not charged in a crime to take one - particularly just to satisfy an accusing public.

That is the only thing about the Anthony's that does NOT bother me. I'm pretty sure everything else does..:great: .

Yes, wonders, I picked up on the news about his voice analysis, too. We hadn't heard anything about that before, in any of the discovery or document dumps, had we? I wonder who did it and what the results were. . . :dunno: Does anyone remember or know any more details about this?

(Thanks, wonders, I kept wanting to ask about this and forgetting, too.)

Maybe it was done by the FBI. I know they do voice analysis.

The analysis must have shown him having nothing to do with the death of Caylee.

That is the weirdest thing about both Cindy and FCA - they truly believe that everyone believes every lie they say. That STILL amazes me! Especially when their lying is so-ooo obvious!

I'd only ever watched Dr Phil a couple times over the years prior to this Anthony show. IIRC, the final portion of each episode is his analysis and suggestion for a 'solution'.
If what you feel is on the mark, Aedrys, this one might knock them right off their chairs.
Will he tell them they are lying on national tv? What justice! What irony! Reel them in with the very thing they crave - the green stuff - only to reveal them for what they are ... money grabbing liars.

I think Dr. Phil will show more clips of the interview then he will say that Cindy Anthony is in the deepest denial he has ever seen in a patient and refuses to look at reality. I think he will say that George is coming to grips with the truth of what happened and I also think that he will say he believes that Casey is a narcissistic psychopath.

IMO

It is strange for sure but I am sure we all have known people that can tell the biggest whoppers with ease and expects people to believe them.

Well if that proves to be the way this plays out, how could George stay with her if he begins to see she is just like FCA? It's so obvious.

And we all know people who have no filters to recognize the BS and they believe it all hook, line and sinker. Amazes me.

George really sort of reminds me of myself and my mom and so many other abused spouses. I was in an abusive marriage with my ex-husband and it took 10 years for me to grow a brain and leave him and it took my mom 41 years to realize my father was like drinking poisoned water.

I truly think that George has been controlled and conditioned for 30 years by a very dominating controlling woman and has been severely emotionally abused and even possibly physically attacked at times. By now he thinks his life is normal it has gone on for so long.

I do see him advancing some and growing more of a backbone. I think George is exhausted though......both physically and mentally. Look at him and then look at Cindy. It is obvious who is suffering from the pain and loss and it sure isn't Cindy.

Imo, he is tired of having to listen to Cindy's ridiculous excuses she gives Casey when they are based on nothing but the lies that comes out of her mouth.

I do not see the marriage lasting even though I know it is hard to end a 30 year marriage but stranger things have happened. Maybe if he takes on a more assertive role now and stands up to her then she wont bully him around so much. He will need a therapist to help him do this.

After this long there are codependency issues at play. I think George needs a therapist more than Cindy. Cindy seeing one is just a waste of time.

You are going to have to out live this wacko then my good man. Her lying train runs on tracks that stretch into infinity. And to places where no person had ever gone before. Or and sane person ever wants to go.......... Heck, her grave stone will probably have a continuing playing voice recording of lies playing on forever...........:banghead::banghead::banghead:

There always seems to be voices in the media and public that feel and express sympathy for the A's and disregard the obvious. Life will always be a mixture of those with radar and those without. People do not realize that sociopathy is prevalent in society, to different degrees, and that we all know at least one or two. A smaller, vulnerable portion of the public are not aware of that and think sociopaths are very obscure. Not. Most sociopaths we encounter will never be murderers, but none the less, are sociopaths. I know people that wouldn't recognize a sociopath if bitten in the arse by one. The Anthony ladies rank high on the sociopath ladder. CA lagging behind FCA by a murder.

Unfortunately I had one in my life from my birth until he died at the age of 75....9 years ago.

I agree with what you say, but I also believe that one layer under is a George who likes to be taken care of, ride the easy life, make no decisions or money to be the family bread winner, drive a nice car and look spiffy in pressed button down shirts with perfect hair. He likes to take the easy road. A trade off for having your soul controlled by a sociopathic mommy. A double whammy.

So here is a interesting little tid bit. I have been searching all over the net to see the interview. Nada, Nothing. So I went to cbs and I can't watch it there but, I can buy a video of day 1 for 29.95 and a video of day 2 for another 29.95 or the transcripe for 29.95.

So may be that money will be funnled through the foundation ?????

+respectfully snipped+

I've seen guys like George before. Although strong, logical and sensible (and they are that way to others), at home they have been so beaten down to a point where they feel it really is better to sit in a corner and say nothing. They clam up - because it is easier - although they know what they are seeing or being told is wrong. They seem to simply run out of any any will to do anything whether they know it's right or not.
In a way, they allow the partner to take control ... whether the partner's actions are logical or not.

I doubt it. If Dr Phil does end up donating to the foundation (and that's a big 'if' as far as I'm concerned, going by how he phrased it at the start of the 1st interview), it's going to be a flat donation so that he controls the amount.

I don't want to buy one, I've already seen it. Just wondering whose selling it? Dr. Phil?

I've done it again. Never mind, I see CBS. Thank you.

Perhaps you are right.... although I have a feeling Cindy likes being the master lol/mistress/decision maker of the house and she is the one that dictates what George wears and how he dresses. Imo, she sees it as a reflection on her as being a 'good wife' and appearances are everything to CA.

I doubt she insisted that George work. She would much rather say that she had to do everything. I just find everything done by Cindy has an ulterior motive. Didn't he get hurt when he was on the police force and draws a disability check?

With him not working it keeps him right where she wanted him. Under her rule and thumb.

I agree...Cindy definitely matched with George knowing she could wear the pants on every issue...that is her core being. George's weakness is that he likes it that way. Or did.
If I had to guess from watching that Dr. Phil interview, George is still under Cindy's control, but less than I have ever seen. Maybe 75%, compared to 99% before. Voicing his opinion about his belief that FCA drugged Caylee was quite ballsy of George. Perhaps there is hope.

Cindy Anthony is as immature as her daughter and is also a master of mis-truths, as she like to call lies. She does this because she herself lies constantly and doesn't like the word liar. I am astonished that people are buying into another phoney organization and a vehicle for more money for personal use. The fact the dr. phil put it out there will lend legitimacy to many poor souls who will contribute. How shameful that he did this. It was a self-serving move on his part to get the ratings. The anthonys would never have done the interview w/o the stipulation (to fool the public) that they are not accepting money. They paint themselves as people who are out there helping others cope. Heck, they didn't even find or care to find their GD during the entire 31 days. They waited till their car was towed and were scared it would be reported as decomp in the car before they considered looking at their daughter.

These people did not even know better than to call their car in stolen to find their grandaughter when she was gone and yet they are asking people for money to teach others what to do and how to cope? GMAB!

Ahhh, I think you said it all with this post.
