If there were no family picture inside the house, no name indications (mail on the table, name on front door etc..) and or if he did not pay attention, then I suppose he may have not known at whose house he was. And if he wasn't drunk or drugged up, he was probably busy figuring out whatever he was doing.
So I guess we can not say for sure, whether he knew for sure where he was.

I have taken a break and obviously missed a lot.
Could someone please tell me if MS has been named a POI in this case?
TIA
Do we know they were inside the house or the garage?
My thinking is they either stopped their mail or had a neighbor get it.
We know the Dr was killed inside her house. We know CWW and JR are accused of murdering her. I just assume they were somehow inside the dwelling.
Also, I thought a family member was checking on the house?

To my knowledge, MS has never been named a POI or Suspect in this case.
The most recent comments that I can find from Sheriff Scott is where he continues to use the phrase “envelope of suspicion” and that “detectives cast the net wide”. No names.

Sheriff Scott said suspicion in a case like this, in which the identity of the person or persons responsible for a homicide is not clear, detectives cast the net wide for suspects as well as witnesses.
"Who would I expect to know more," he said. "A wife, brother, close associate? That's where we go with this."
The sheriff said the ongoing investigation has not rejected any explanations and theories. "It would be premature to rule anything out," he said.
Nobody has escaped that "envelope of suspicion," Scott said, with the net cast as close as her husband. "Husband, wife, children, brother, sister, immediate friends, close family friends and business associates," he said, are all in the envelope when investigating a homicide.
Adding to Amazon Rain's points, the PERFECTLY executed (in my opinion coordinated is better word) the perfect 'window' of time where she was 'alone' in the house with the alarm turned off...
My husband and i are very laid back, just plain ol' working stiffs - but both were pretty popular/partied a lot in our 70's past. We knew and still are in contact with many childhood buddies that we drank and even smoked pot with, etc.
We still see many today are now Sunday School teachers, respectable folks. BUT NO WAY, as laid back as we are, WOULD WE EVER LET ANYONE NEAR OUR CHILDREN OR OUR FAMILY AND CERTAINLY NOT THE IT GUY OF OUR BUSINESS IF HE WAS BUSTED FOR METH LAB/POSSIBLE PRODUCTION AND BEEN RUMORED TO BE INVOLVED WITH A DISAPPEARANCE OF A MAN. just doesn't pass the smell test ....all in my humble opinion.
Even if I wasn't close to this case (which gives me a biased and informed perspective) I would still have a high amount of suspicion for the husband at the point that a lifelong friend of the husband became involved. This wasn't a friend that MS met a few months ago at a gym or someone that he knew nothing about this is a friend that MS knew for the past 30 years that he chose to involve himself with year after year not to mention stand up at his wedding two months before the death of his wife. Based on how "close" everyone is from that part of Missouri, along with identical looks, similar interests (computers/"entrepreneurship"), same background addresses and the fact that this friend was involved with the business that MS managed is enough for me to say - very suspicious. Once I then add my personal knowledge of MS as a person and a husband my suspicion turns into outright belief of his guilty involvement. I want to add that even if it comes out that MS led police to CWW or cooperated in any way I will still believe of his guilty involvement. This guy is a master of manipulation in my book who is obsessed with money and I thought that before (IMO) he was involved with killing TS.
Yes, it is unusual for an innocent victim to make no statement, no appeals to the public for info, no statement thanking LE for arresting those responsible.
There haven't been any significant court proceedings yet, just an arraignment and bond hearing, iirc.

This is the MS speculation thread. It gets tiresome reading and then defending motives and theories where some (to include me) believe he has some measure of guilt. I do not visit the non- MS theories thread and start adding my $.02 . You may postulate being on the fence (not to anyone in particular) to post here but I believe it's easy to see what people's guts are telling them.

I could not agree more!
Did MS have CWW around his children, I mean, I don't know.
Did they all socialize together? Go to dinner, have visits?
And I also agree, wouldn't want him involved in my business either
Thank you. I trust your instincts as a very credible insider.Even if I wasn't close to this case (which gives me a biased and informed perspective) I would still have a high amount of suspicion for the husband at the point that a lifelong friend of the husband became involved. You may want CWW involved in your business if you were dabbling in "left of center" affairs, though. Maybe MS kept this friendship for MO and TS and the girls were kept out of it in term of socializing, visiting etc.

Very very good point. That would explain such a brutal hateful murder. You assume it would be a "her", if there was an affair?
