Dr. Teresa Sievers - Motives and Theories (Including MS speculation)

.. we will hopefully find out soon. In the meantime, I have not changed my mind about the "mistake" with the pried open garage side door. I thought from the very beginning, that the broken-in side door and the "hammer" was a mistake.

Here is again why and with more detailed knowledge afterwards regarding the alarm system:

Let's take a step back and just pretend the arrests of JR and CWW never happened, no Missori connection whatsoever. It would look like a burglary gone wrong. Dr would have either stepped into a burglary in progress or it was a home invasion during which Dr S was killed. This would have been the desirable outcome of whatever plan was employed by the perps.

However, something made LE find out very early in the investigation - according to Sheriff Mike Scott- that suggested it was not , what it was looking like: It was not a random burglary.

We know now the alarm was OFF. We do not know, when the alarm had been disarmed or who disarmed it.

As we remember MS made the statement according to a family member, that perhaps his direct family member had forgotten to set the alarm. We all discussed it and a poster suggested, that MS should not be privy of this info, since perhaps Dr S could have entered a house with a disarmed alarm system, and she could have later rearmed the system. That was a great thought! Here is why:

MS DID NOT EXPECT THE ALARM TO BE OFF!! HE EXPECTED THE ALARM TO BE ON!! He was sincere in thinking that the family member simply missed to activate the alarm system. The video camera in front of the garage was previously adjusted to point away towards the right or back of the house, not the front. Later someone (!) readjusted the camera to point towards the front again.

JR and CWW both expected the alarm to be on! They waited for Dr S to arrive home, to disarm the system (she may have been surprised the system was off, if she even realized) and then sneaked through the front garage door, when she entered the premises with the van.

She closes the door, they wait until she enters the next possibly locked connection door (by that time the alarm is either disarmed or she goes to disarm it now) and attack her perhaps while entering the kitchen or even before, when she was still in the garage getting her luggage out of the car?

There is a picture of that door and kitchen on MS' FB photo page. They kill her either with a knife or strangle her. She has no chance, no defensive wounds, nothing.
They then go back to the side garage door and pry open the door from outside with a - hammer. They need to make it look like a burglary AFTER DR S CAME HOME. A burglary prior to that would not be possible with out the alarm going off - or so they THINK!
They now go back into the kitchen and "hammer" her "to death", so that there is a nice connection between a pried open door (with a hammer) and a "hammered" victim.
LE discovered early, that the movements between the main crime-scene and the surrounding area went back and forth.
Notice also the garage side door shows no damage around the deadbolt area/frame. That door was not dead bolted! Why not? That door would have been easy to open without any damage! But no, they had to use the hammer for the "burglary-victim" connection.
In my mind, JR and CWW did NOT know the alarm was off. That was not the information the plan was based on. Without the alarm set, they could have had access AT ANY GIVEN TIME prior to Dr S arrival. Her arrival was necessary to enter the house without tripping the system. Even if they discovered upon their arrival, that the alarm was deactivated, they stuck to their plan.

If anything, any individual not reactivating the alarm would have had absolutely no fault whatsoever (if that even happened). The attack was based on ALARM ON. It would and did(!) happen anyway. It may even help the prosecution and therefore getting justice for Dr Sievers!!

All of that is just my theory of course.

This is a very good theory and I agree with most of it, the only question I have and I'm not expert on it so bear with me, but if she were killed by another method first then subsequently hammered so to speak, would there have been a bloody jumpsuit? I know there would have been blood, but being deceased already the blood pressure would have dropped to negligible and may have presented on her body and surrounding floor area but I'm not certain it would have had enough force to land elsewhere. Expert thoughts appreciated!

That's why I included the possibility of a knife being used prior to the "hammer". One could have tried to strangle her (from behind), the other person(?) may have had or grabbed a knife (knife block?), if they were indeed in the kitchen area.
The entire idea of my post was to suggest, that the "alarm being off" was indeed unintentional, and yet it may help the investigation (..or the books and movies department..;-)

Ah, okay, I was focused on the strangled part and overlooked the knife as part of your theory. That covers my only question, I think you are right on about the alarm and makes sense. It never made sense to me why the alarm would have been off, too obvious and damning to have been planned

I have no idea if blood would spatter any differently if TS was bludgeoned shortly after death as opposed to beaten to death, but I'm going to guess that it wouldn't be much different in terms of blood spatter.

  • #665
Maybe the difference would come in(blood splatter) if she was on the floor versus standing up when the first blow was struck?

  • #666
I think MS asked to check under TS's fingernails because he knew there wouldn't be any evidence there. That was the plan and he knew it was carried out with no or little defense from TS. Maybe because of the jumpsuit, ski type masks, gloves, etc or maybe bc she was so taken by surprise there was no time for her to defend herself :( So that leads me to believe they incapacitated her quickly and that any of the brutal aspect was done after she died.

I like the thought about them thinking the alarm was on. If the perps diarm the system that screams inside job.

I think MS did not activate the alarm when they left for the airport. jmo

If they thought the alarm was armed, then they probably waited until she entered in the code to disarm. Control panel was probably in the kitchen.

Wasn't MS's mother looking after the house/dogs while they were on vacation?

I know it was discussed earlier, whether she reset the alarm or not, before she left.

Then you have to also assume that whoever took care of the house and/or dogs did not rearm the system either, or at least knew the alarm was off.

Did anyone take a SS of MS FB page with all the 🤬🤬🤬 account posts? I didn't and think some of earliest posts have been removed from his page as well as all of the comments on the three that are remaining.

If his mother was checking the house she would know if the alarm was on or off.
That's easy to verify IMO

i just looked and i see no 🤬🤬🤬 posts
earlier, when they were all there, i only remember seeing comments on one of them

Here is food for thought tho!
TS maybe turned off the alarm when she arrived home.
CWW and JR maybe followed her in thru the garage.

Was her van in the garage?

All of the 🤬🤬🤬 posts have now been removed completely. Little late

They were there as recent as yesterday morning, because when I was correcting my post in 'Just the Facts, Jack' thread, I went to MS FB to insure the 🤬🤬🤬 formerly with the 1.0M goal was still the same one linked to his FB even though the created by and goal amount and photo had changed.

So point is, I believe that has occurred in the past 24 hours. Just before CWW's welcome back to FL event? My theories are in overdrive.

They were definitely there yesterday yep, I saw them as well. Strangely timed I agree, I'm with you!

There were three there early this morning when I looked. The earliest being July 8th.

There was someone coming in and out of the house while they were gone caring for the pets.
