Ross is also ensuring potential jurors know and believe suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty before deciding if she thinks they should be excused from serving on the jury.

The first juror with prior knowledge of the case was excused after he said he already made up his mind about Rodgers' alleged guilt in this case.

If you're familiar, Jay Brizel is doing most of the jury selection work for the defense. Cynthia Ross is the primary for the state. #trialtweets #jimmyrodgersontrial #teresasievers #nbc2courtcoverage

Of the first six, 3 go and 3 stay. It's a pretty mixed bag of people who have heard a lot and some just a little. Several more to go. #trialtweets #jimmyrodgersontrial #teresasievers #nbc2courtcoverage

Ugh. Save everyone time and convict. They are guilty as hell.
OREGONMAMA Something about your bluntness is so darned common sense.:D:D However, I do not want to be denied the opportunity to watch the CWW and MS face off in a courtroom.
I have been imagining the scenario,
Prosecutor:
"Mr. Wright, how much did Mr. Sievers agree to pay you for killing his wife?"
Defense: "Why do you think Mr. Sievers would select you as his go-to assassin?"
Defense: "Didn't you kill Mrs. Sievers to punish Mark for hitting on your AW the day before your wedding?"
Hypothetical answers:
He offered me $750,000.oo (seven hundred fifty thousand dollars)... and told me that was one-half of the insurance money. But now I know he was really getting over 4 million dollars!
Uh, because I have had some brushes with the law and been a suspect in a missing person case.
Nah, no reason to expect anything else...MS and I used to stuff like that when we were younger. We both dated AW's aunt, too. We're just cool, suave dudes, ya know. (insert disgusted emoji)

I am glad CWW "took the deal"...it may be the only way we will get any information that might be truthful. He doesn't have anything left to lose.

Yes, I wanted them to have a face off but JRR is stupid! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the overwhelming evidence points to pure guilt! He should have taken the plea!!

JRR was a minor figure in this case, IMO, so the plea should have been taken. Perhaps he wants to go down as a VIP to give himself some self esteem but Mark and his twin are another story. SO much more going on between those two with past history and I'm convinced CWW was responsible for another murder, and other illegal stuff with Mark and Teresa's practice.
