TamgMit -

You are freaking me out. Yesteryday, before you posted, I had a vision of Lindsey trying to run and she ran to a shack in the woods. It was dark and she started banging on the windows, but it was dark and no one was there--it had been abandoned, or no one was there.

I also wish to thank the volunteers in the search. Hope something was found to lead to her.

I had this dream of this trailer that was in woods, High grass around it, a brook to the right side of trailer as I am looking at the trailer and on left side was an old small greyish color wood shed. The trailer was approx. 12 x 60 reddish/ brown brick color siding. Had a white front door, small wood steps and railing in front. The windows sills were greyish weathered wood windows, that didn't look like trailer windows but looked like it needed to be painted. Looked dark inside could only see black. Could see two windows next to each other on the left side of steps, towards the shed and one on the other the other side of steps. It reminded me of an old trailer and didn't look like anyone was there.

I hope and praying they find Lindsey today or clues. I would like to also thank all those that helped in the searches, research information, and support. You guys have done a wonderful job, thank you. Hey, Jennifer, Happy belated birthday hope you had a good time last night. Well, I am off to work hope you all have a good day. Good luck on the searches.

Get out of town! I was just surfing, looking for anything "McCleary", and google took me to trulio.com and a house for sale. It's a trailer (doublewide); has steps (old wood) and a railing; has a barn/shed/outbuilding, gray, with weeds/kudzu growing up the sides and boarded-up windows; old cut grass that edges natural forest; sits on 2.(something) acres; is on a dead-end road; looks to be walking distance from 6th and Maple; and is right across from Old Sand Creek.
Yikes.
Go to Trulia.com, type in 93 Old Sand Creek Road, McCleary, WA 98557
There are several good photos, and a map.

Yikes!

The Property adjoins Port Blakely Tree Farms. The home is not vacant. It went on the market June 15, 2009.

I have a picture of the barn, how do I insert it?
Lovespasta, thank you for posting, and welcome to Websleuths! I believe you need to post 50(ish) posts to be able to view images on this board, but I honestly don't know if you can upload one sooner than that. Somebody will know, and tell us soon (please?). If not, and to rack up 50(ish) posts quickly, go to the "games" forum on the main Websleuths page. You'll find a lot of little word and alphabet games there, and you can make your 50(ish) posts in about five minutes.

I've posted images here by first saving them to my desktop, and then uploading them to my free photobucket account. Photobucket has a button (right click the image) that copies the html code to your mouse, and then you just "paste" (right mouse click) it into a "reply" post here. Simple as pie.
I hope that makes sense. It sounds like a lot to go through, but it isn't really any trouble. Promise!

What else do you know about that property? I saw the June 15th date, but Prudential's website (I think it was) showed a $ 9,500.00 price reduction on that date, so I wasn't sure which was what.

I just need to say that my posting info about this property is not meant to imply in any way that I think there is anything criminal going on there. It does seem to match many of the features of TamMit's dream, and since this thread is about dreams and visions, we (I) tend to be a little more open with my thoughts than I might otherwise be.

Just saying.

I do hope someone looked in that barn! And again, welcome!:D

Thank you for the Welcome and the instructions on Photo's. I have the owners names. They purchased the home in 2003. I'll begin playing the games:) so I can download the picture of the barn.
I was in Mccleary on Friday. I came and looked in all the vacant homes and outbuildings. I wanted to take the same route that Lindsey took. It looks so different in person. I came away feeling strongly that it is a local person. I can't see someone come randomly off the freeway. I had lunch in the cafe and tried to listen to the chatter. Not much talk. I only saw a couple of flyers up on road signs. Lots of flyers about a lost dog. Very Sad.
I wish they would check all the homes on Maple Street and Mommson. Take the dogs in the homes. If Lindsey turned off of Maple that would mean she was going to a specific destination. Maple to mommson is a direct line. Nice wide streets. They looked well kept, all lived in.

Did you join us in the search?

And as far as flyers you must have been there early on Friday. By early afternoon we not only had one person standing in the intersection handing out flyers to every car that came by.. but there was also approxiamitly 500 posted in and/or around McCleary (this also included WE NEED YOUR HELP SEARCHING posters). When I drove to the Shell station from the community center I saw them on every door to every business.

I was there about 10:AM I stayed until about 1:PM. My husband started having back pain. We were in a head-on car crash and it left my husband with chronic back pain. So we headed home. Since I have access to homes that are for sale, I wanted to search them. I didn't get to see them all. Especially the ones in the outskirts of town. I did receive a flyer and saw them posted in windows of the business. And I saw alot of volunteers. That was great. I'm so glad I was able to go if for only a little while. The pictures will make sense.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and your husbands injuries. Thanks for the work you did do. We appreciate it.

Just a friendly reminder that you were asked not to share any pictures or information that you obtained while conducting a search. Since you were involved in a search please do not post any personal pictures you took.

I haven't posted any information and didn't take any pictures. Thanks for the heads up. What I did find I would turn over to the authorities. I will go back to observing and learn the rules and regs. I pray Lindsey is found soon and alive for her mom and brothers sake.

Welcome to WS, Lovespasta~! Don't go back to observing! Jump right in here and we will guide you through it gently. :)

Glad to hear you both went to search and sorry about hubby's back. That is the thing about those searches is that anyone who can even spare a couple of hours or so is much needed. It is refreshing to see all the wonderful hearts that went out to Lindsey and her family this weekend. Kindness, concern, and love go a long way to help a hurting family.

By the way~ I love pasta, too.

If you have any questions...just ask! We were all newbies once! ;)

The building in the vision I had appeared to be one-story, and long like a trailer. There was gray wood that seemed to have some boards overlapping, a white plywood board, etc. There were two windows on the left-hand side that she was knocking on to see if someone was there. It was dark inside and it was night outside.

Oh, I know you hadn't posted anything. I just wanted to remind you of the things you had agreed to when you signed the forms to search. We appreciated everyones help this past weekend. We had a lot of people that weren't able to go out on foot searches. We always made sure we found something for everyone. Whether it was just being a driver to the search areas or helping within the center itself.
Again, we appreciate the help this past weekend. Welcome to WS and continue posting. Like SS said..we were all newbies at one time. We all had to have reminders of what we could do and say. :)

So we won't ever be apprised of what happened on the search? In the searches for Caylee Anthony, we had info. every step of the way, and websleuths were involved in those searches, i.e. the river.

Concentric,

Were those searches done by a volunteer group such as Klaaskids or LRC? Or were they done by LE.
Klaaskids/LRC gather information about the area. They put together detailed reports of what was found, areas of interest and those are passed onto LE. If LE feels the area needs to be more thoroughly searched.. I assume that will be done.

The reason we have been asked not to share what was found, said or done this past weekend is because anything found, said or done could be a potential clue. This is a public forum. If we said we found something in *such and such* area that matched her *shirt/shoes/pants* then that area could be compromised by people going and checking it out. Or possibly someone remove the "evidence". Nothing was picked up or bagged as evidence this weekend. That's LEs job, not Klaaskids or LRC.

We weren't out there to "find Lindsey" per say (although we all know that finding a body is a possibility, that is not what we were looking for). We were looking for something, anything that held a clue to Lindseys where abouts. Something that pointed us in the right direction to look for her.
Right now we don't know if she went North, South, East or West. All are feasible possibilities.. We were looking for that one thing that said "hey guys.. she went N/S/W/E the night she went missing. Go this way!"
I don't know if that information was found this weekend.

I believe the river searches were done by Leonard Padilla and he informed the media every step of the way. Also the surrounding area searches were done by Equusearch, right? We were also informed of what they found, through the media. I guess the media has the right to know. Just askin'

From what I understand the rules for searching by an organization are standaed across the board. If LE is backing the searches the volunteers must sign a waver accepting all the rules and abide by them. Remember Tim Miller being unhappy with a couple of people breaking the rule? When a private search is requested without LE funding you are required to sign the waver accepting all the rules but it is not binding. The private search is done in good faith to keep the integrity of the investigation. It would be compared to TM with support of LE vs. Leonard P who funded his own search and decided to make it public every step of the way. Leonard was luckey however that he didn't find Caylee that week or he would be sitting in TM's position having to turn over all records of the search volunteers identities from Blanchard Park and boy would that be a circus since LE wasn't backing LP and team of searches. I must admit LP's team was very careful that day and kind of went from grid to grid. By volunteers of a private search keeping mum no one can say clues in this case were tampered with. As we know with Caylee defense is stating Caylee's earthly body was tampered and moved to it's resting place by someone other than KC. (even though we all know mother did thid to her.) This gives defense something to cause delay and we certainly don't want Lindsey's abductor to get away with anything. Does that help concentric?

It sure helped me, kageykaren, so thanks for the explain. It makes sense, I'm sure, that any new info goes directly to LE and only there, but still...it's very hard to wait and wonder what, if anything, was accomplished, isn't it?

I imagine it is just as hard to have to bite your tongue and say nothing.

Since I didn't participate in the actual search, I can and will (try to) post the picture of the trailer-house with the barn I found online last night, so that concentric and TamMit can see if it resembles what either of them "saw".

Lovespasta, thanks again for jumping in here. I hope you will continue to post with us, and that you will also check out those other vacant houses when your husband feels better enough to go for a ride. Lindsey needs us!

Coastal,
A lot was accomplished this weekend. 205 people covered a lot of area around our county. That was more than what they had on Thursday.
Even if we didn't find Lindsey we covered a lot of area. Places we can say "nope, nothing there. Let's move on"

Every little bit of what is done is that much closer to finding Lindsey. And honestly, no it's not hard to not say anything. We want what is best for Lindsey... right now the less information out to the public is better.

I understand the wanting to know the information, I really do. But we have to think about Lindsey. Whoever did this to her is still out there.. s/he could be reading these boards. If we talked about what was done, said or found during the search it could compromise any case the LEs would or do have on him.
No justice would be served if something as simple as my sharing any information would jeopardize it.
I'd rather keep my mouth shut and have people continue to wonder.. than to have Lindseys abductor go free.

Yikes.

coastal and TamgMit:

Looked at the house and I would say there are some similarities. One of the elements that most freaked me out was the presence of the birch trees. In the vision there were trees that lit up in the moonlight and I believed they were birch before viewing the photos. The building was long, like a trailer and there was the presence of a patio with a wooden railing, although I could not place the location of these features, perhaps also a pipe for a wood stove. She was running from the perp., found this building in the woods and was knocking on two dark windows to the left-hand side of where she was standing. The windows looked larger to me; however, from her perspective, perhaps they appeared to be so. The building looked gray in the dark with some white boarding I made out to my right.

I was praying this morning and get the words:

black
stream
silver
brook
meeting
coarse man

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/coarse

coarse

Sorry, I'm very new to understanding what this is all about, the perceptions, I mean.
