snippedDid we ever determine if Middle Mountain Road was the road Mark was searching with B when he made the comment about it being stupid to search there? It sounds to me like it could be..
Last night someone posted that Dylans last text was to his friend and said I will see you in the morning and it was 9:37 pm. IDK if that was verified or not. There is an onslaught of info and articles in the last 24 hrs so if that was a rumor or fb thing I'm sorry.
To my knowledge, the text has not been presented this way in MSM previously so where is this coming from?9:37 p.m. Dylan sent his last text message to a friend, saying he planned to meet up with him early the next morning.
LE must be holding something big back because from all that was found i don't see how they could come to the conclusion that it was a criminal investigation from just 3 lots of bones.
:moo: :cow:
When the heck did this happen?? I just happen to log on and see it. Like everyone else, I felt that he has been dead for a long time, but to see it in print and know the finality of it, it is still shocking. Poor Elaine and family. Mark, eh.....just haven't changed my opinion about him. Something is off with him. Poor Dylan. Light the way to the one who did this.
According to Mark Redwine, it wasn't uncommon for Dylan to venture into the woods where his body was found.

Really, Mark? It "wasn't uncommon" for Dylan to hang out here?

Investigators say the place where Dylan's remains were found was not a place he would have gone on his own.

Investigators also found a piece of the boy's shirt, one sock and his shoestrings but not the backpack or other items he had when he went missing, Redwine said.
"Ninety-eight percent of Dylan is scattered about the countryside," said Redwine, his voice trembling in an interview Thursday night".
Is this a reporter? I'm not sure how he knows what Cory texted to MR and why he would conclude that Cory blames his Dad from this text?![]()
From the many cases I've followed on Websleuths, it is my worthless opinion that most parents of abducted children WHO AREN'T GUILTY grieve privately immediately after their child's body is discovered. Some eventually come forward and speak to the press at a later date.Has this been posted yet ?
Also , for the people on here that have been part of other threads on missing children , is it normal for a grieving parent a few hours after they hear of the death of there child to go into such grim details ?

I live in Kentucky. The terrain is similar. This is NOT EVEN safe for adults!

Pensfan, thank you for bringing over the LE quote about how Dylan was always on the internet, and him just taking off like that was not him. Assuming LE researched his internet and texting habits, it's good to have a quote from them to back up what his family has said about him.
I honestly believe something happened Sunday evening when the communicating stopped. It is clear to me that if Dylan had woken up in the morning, he would have been texting R immediately.

Yes I believe it is packerdog. However, it is my understanding that the Sheriff's spokesperson has stated that both parents are cooperating and there are no suspects at this time. I'll try and find a link for you to confirm this.

Where is the skull? IMO There's a reason skulls are generally found mostly intact and it's because they are not easily broken up. Even archaic discoveries generally include the skull, even a hundred thousand years later. An animal may fracture a bone to get at the marrow inside and in doing that digest some of it, but that seems less likely with a skull. The search team included archeologist and anthropologist who would know this also - would they have stopped searching "we found all we're going to find" without the skull?
I'm beginning to think it is possible that the searchers also found the skull but did not share that fact with anyone, including the parents. Just a gut feeling - IMO.
