"For the loving, caring peacemaker that he was,” Mark Redwine said. “I know that it was difficult for his mom and I to go through such a bitter divorce and I did everything I could to keep him out of the middle of it. He struggled with that and I'm not sure he felt he could talk to either of his parents about that and that's what's also hard."

Say, what? I'm sorry but what does this have to do with losing your child?

If my child was missing for nearly 8 months and found dead in the woods, I might yell a bit at the person I thought responsible too. IMO

Yeah, I'm going to give her (and Corey) a pass for their reported reactions to Mark after hearing the devastating news. At the very least, her baby disappeared and died on Mark's watch.

Let's just go with shock and babbling. It's the kind thing to do today.:)

Something's never change, huh? When all else fails deflect attention and blame onto Elaine with talk of the divorce. He is so predictable yet disappointing.

I'm giving everyone a pass. As I said in a previous post, it's the kind thing to do today.

Last post until the information comes in more clearly.

Melissa Colorado ‏@melissacolorado 16m Truly heartbreaking. Standing in front of Mark Redwine's door. The missing poster of #DylanRedwine is still there pic.twitter.com/f3kjzkktMn

Melissa Colorado ‏@melissacolorado 3m Dylan Redwine's father tells me authorities found his son's 2 femurs and a shoulder blade in woods. The investigation is now a homicide

Um...I thought Mark said before he was shown pictures of Dylan's body? Now it sounds like LE found just bones?

I wish I was able to give a pass to MR in regard to speaking to the media, but if the detectives investigating your son's murder ask you not to talk to the media why in the world would you turn around and do exactly that? JMO, but that smacks of total narcissism to me. Can't even keep quiet for one day when you've been specifically asked to do so, and when details of what you were told could screw up further investigation? I don't think I've ever heard of a parent seemingly destroying an investigation in such a way... I can't honestly believe that MR isn't aware of what he's doing, and that it will cause problems. I believe the average person knows that when LE asks you to be quiet about something it's for a reason, and usually a very good one. Extremely disappointing. I honestly wanted to be proven wrong, have crow ready and waiting for myself... I'm afraid his actions today don't deter me from my original thoughts.

Again all of the above is MOO! :cow:

Regardless of what others believe, MOO, MR has always known where Dylan was and it was not surprise to him. The fact that he wants to "focus" on talking with EH to discuss a memorial is sickening beyond belief. He should have thought about a proper burial, respect and all of that on November 18th. MOO.

And... We are only hearing of Elaine's reaction from Mark's perspective...

could he have said something, too?

why did he feel a need to share this information with the public?

LE has been pretty tight lipped in this case. I prayed Dylan would be found. That prayer has been answered. Sadly. Now I pray they have something on the person who did this :banghead:
