Interesting that they do in the order that they were seated. I've never seen this before. Is this a normal federal procedure then :moo: to do such? As odds of this happening with a lottery (which I've always seen for states) is probably one in a gazillion.

PAH so Dzhokhar was not actually trying to murder children he was targeting a tree. Well that's that then not guilty move along.
I mean really 'lets not make his intent any worse than it was' how could it be any worse. HE SET A BOMB OFF BESIDE CHILDREN did he think it would magically miss them. Nope and I'm not fussed on the terrorist label either. Coming from Northern Ireland and seeing terrorists walk out of prison free men putting a label of terrorist on anyone makes me a bit cynical. He is a man who murdered men women and children he is a murderer. His reason for doing so doesn't make him anything other than that.

Jury Deliberates Boston Marathon Bombing After &#8216;It Was Him&#8217; Admission

"..."Given the amount of evidence the government has, I would suggest it's the only strategy," Robert Bloom, a Boston College law professor, told ABC News last month. "I think their objective is to develop a rapport with the jury. They certainly don't want to go and cross examine victims very hard. By developing a rapport with the jury, when their turn comes to talk about the death penalty phase of it, they will have a rapport with the same jurors that are hearing all this evidence."

Charles Ogletree, Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, agreed.

"Their point is there's no question that what he did was wrong, being involved in the marathon bombing, but they're also saying that life imprisonment is enough punishment that would appropriate," he said..."
