A roadside bomb has struck a tourist bus near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, killing at least two people and injuring 12 others.

Two Vietnamese visitors died when the homemade device ripped through the bus after it was concealed behind a wall, officials said.

Another 10 of the 14 tourists were hurt in the explosion with only two escaping unharmed.

The bus driver and the tour guide, both Egyptian, were also injured after the explosion at 6.15pm local time (4.45pm GMT).

There is so much hate in the world. There has always been hate and I suppose there always will be. Is there no end?

Senseless indiscriminate violence. As you said, so much hate. Some people just want to destroy and not build.
Seeing the great pyramids used to be one the things on my bucket list. But I have that up long ago. I don't think you could pay me to go there anymore. I know that sort of plays into the hands of the terrorists (drive off tourists and sink the economy) but I don't think I could enjoy a trip there anymore.
