Emergency custody papers filed by mother of JI's son 11/14/11

  • #81
Where I live, they do not have legal aide for custody issues. As I stated before, we do not know why she didn't "show" up. Maybe she didn't know about the court date, maybe her car broke down, maybe she was scared, maybe she is just not a good mother. We shouldn't assume anything about this mother, nor think she "lost" custody. None of us have any clue what the situation was like, for her, the child, or with JI.

Are we allowed to sleuth this mother here? I didn't think so...

My understanding is she has been named in MSM so she is fair game to discuss, especially as she has a thread all to herself already (two if you count this one) Nobody has sleuthed her that I know of but we are allowed to form whatever opinion we want based on what we do know. I know she didn't show up and can't come up with a good reason why not. I know she hasn't bothered to see her son (from her mouth) in over two years and can't find a good reason for that either. The two things I do know about her plus her video contributed to my opinion and that's what it is MOO!

Thank Jaxson. I choose to wait until the facts regarding custody come out. There could be many reasons, or none at all, why she didn't seek custody, nor show up for the hearing.

Regardless, I feel bad for her son. His mother hasn't been in his life, then he is subjected to another motherly figure who drinks into a possible blackout, his sister disappears while he is in the house. Then, he is paraded in front of the camera, while trick-or-treating. Such a sad situation for all the children.

She may be new news to some but bio-mom has already been thoroughly discussed by many here in Lisa's forum and she already has her own thread.. It's quite obvious that this bio-mom for whatever reasons(theyre all excuses anyway and those excuses do me no good.. The only one she's gotta answer to for her lack of seeing her son.. Is just her son)has chosen to not go forward with any visitation.. None zero zilch, ever.. She has had rights for visitation this entire time of over 2 years.. She has not seen him even once and the son has lived in the same home from which bio-mom moved out from on Lister.. Jeremy could not, even if he wanted to, in anyway prohibit, stand in the way, cause problems with RR exercising her right to visitation with her son.. The mother is the only one to blame for their being zero contact...

^above^ BBM.. Would love to see where it is you saw these statements(maybe where those other statements are of those "DB supporters"..lol.. Nonexistent..:D)

haha er um NO.
:ohwow: Rude comments about JI's son's birth mother are not nonexistent and are on this thread for anyone to read. They began to appear as soon as a comment was made that JI son's birth mother may seek more visitation or discuss custody.

Many of those comments are like those posted>>ABOVE<<.
It appears bio mom has been handed the mother of the year award for nearly 6 weeks by more than a handful. Those post are plentiful on Lisa's forum.

Again, the mother of JI's son, a woman who IS NOT A person connected with this case~~ is being accused of being an unfit mother and numerous other catty comments.

Lisa's mother hung her own proverbial sign out front**
According to a GMA interview referenced here-

"The mother of a missing Kansas City baby said Monday that she was drunk when her daughter disappeared, may have blacked out and actually last saw the child hours before the time she originally told police she checked on her...." :furious:

Yes, and that she is not apathetic in the least. There is always legal aid.

I was being facetious. Should have used the eyeroll smilie!
I have a hard time seeing him harming a fly let alone being ruthless!

The mother of a missing Kansas City baby said Monday that she was drunk when her daughter disappeared, may have blacked out and actually last saw the child hours before the time she originally told police she checked on her :furious:

First of all DB is not an admitted heavy drinker. She has admitted to drinking one night and she will live with the guilt for the rest of her life. I have said it before, there are 1000's of parents drinking tonight but when they wake up all of their kids will be safe and sound. I am happy that I sold my glass house years ago.

The bio-mother has had plenty of chances to see her son and she as far as we know has never attempted to see him. As someone said above there is nothing preventing her from making an effort to follow through on what the courts awarded her

These boys have enough going on in their life right now and I don't feel any changes should be made at this time. Heck he doesn't even know her.

I do hope that she attempts to become part of his life again but only for the right reasons. I also hope that she is serious and doesn't leave his life months from now.

I know he just doesn't appear to have the energy to be ruthless. In fact he appears to me to pretty non-confrontational.

DB admitted she drank 5 to 10 glasses of wine. She admitted she was drunk. I posted earlier and will post again, there is no way DB got drunk for the first time the night that Lisa disappeared.

People who are NOT used to drinking get a little tipsey on a glass or two of wine and then generally throw up if they drink much more. Seasoned drinkers drink 5-10 glasses of wine, on the back stoop, during one sitting, when they should be caring for their children and their boyfriends son. moo

the wine was bought about 5ish, DB parted ways with her company about 10:30 according to the timeline, that is over 5 hours. That tells me even if she had 10 glasses of wine, that is less than 2 per hour, I don't call that heavy drinking. We are told she had BETWEEN 5 to 10 glasses of wine, the lower the number the fewer glasses per hour. Simple math. :twocents:

Simple math? Not according to Deborah herself....
SHE aka DB stated in the quote I posted and linked above that-
SHE WAS DRUNK.
Why did DEBORAH go on national tv and state that SHE WAS DRUNK and maybe passed out?
Remember,
I didn't say she was drunk. DEBORAH said she was drunk.
She said it on Good Morning America to all those millions of viewers. (That interview can be found on you tube and possibly here on the media thread.)

Then why did DEBORAH say on national tv that SHE WAS DRUNK?
You might want to take it up with DB. jk

I didn't say she was or wasn't drunk, I'm saying it doesn't prove she IS A DRUNK or a heavy drinker on a regular basis. :great: < maybe, but not a heavy drinker. JMHO

Not true at all!! I am NOT a drinker at all and I can drink 5-6 glasses of wine on Christmas eve and only have a buzz. I do not throw up. I do not black out! A wine glass is 4-6 oz. at 10 glasses that equals 5 bottles of beer. Heck I sell 2 big bottles of wine to a lady every single day. Now that is a drunk!

No where has it been stated that this is something she does daily or even often. iMO until I hear otherwise I will consider this a lapse of judgement

2 glasses of wine per hour over a 5 hr period might make a person drunk if they don't normally drink much. I only drink a couple times of year and I am a real light weight. In fact I drink wine because a beer will put me under, yes I said A beer. I would probably be drunk if I drank 2 glasses of wine over a 5 hr period depending on when and what I ate. If right before I started drinking not as much as if I hadn't ate. I wouldn't get sick though. However I am guessing that at 120 I am somewhat smaller than Deb so may not be able to handle as much as her.

Mommie's own words.

Again, not one of us has said she wasn't drunk. Just that she isn't A drunk. Do you not see the difference? Getting drunk one night doesn't make you a 'seasoned drinker'. You cannot know she was drunk all the time. She had a friend over who was having marital problems. They were probably having a guy bashing night of gossip, b****** and moaning. Then they got drunk. I haven't seen anything that called bio-man 'unfit' either. Just apathetic.

Deborah has been quoted as saying she drinks a couple of times a week after the children are in bed. Is this to blackout as the night that Baby Lisa went missing? That would total 96 evenings a year when the children's Mommy was so drunk that she couldn't remember a thing or be a caregiver for her children.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/10/1...ard-joins-search-for-missing-baby-lisa-irwin/

We also heard this was the first time JI worked a night shift, meaning DB is not usually the only caregiver in the home at night, we also heard she expected him home that night when she started drinking, so she didn't know at the time he would not be home between 10:30 and midnight. MOO

So JI was expected to work a job and another part time job, and then be the sole caregiver of a teething sick infant?
