Emergency meeting called at Buckingham Palace in London

Mystery figure SPOTTED on Buckingham Palace roof ahead of ‘unscheduled meeting’

A PERSON has been spotted on the roof of Buckingham Palace next to its flagpole, further feeding speculation of the nature of this morning’s emergency meeting.

This is getting bizarre.

Why would someone be by the flagpole? Do they raise and lower the flag each day?

Is this unusual and does it mean the flag is going to be flown at half-staff?

But its not just household staff, its all royal staff?

All I'm seeing is "entire staff".

I can't imagine its just a staff meeting because there is suppose to be an official announcement per royal protocol at 8 am.

So I'm thinking it was a meeting to personally inform staff before the official announcement goes out.

Now what that meeting is about we will know soon but it seems it has to be something worthy of calling an entire staff back in the middle of the night and making an official announcement.

Don't know where stories of this meeting being at 3am have come from. The meeting hasn't happened yet.

Well, I've got concerns because it's my day off and now I'm going to have to work. Seriously, I've been told no death.

"no cause for concern." is uninteresting though.

The Royal standard is flown when the Queen is in residence at Buckingham Palace if the Queen dies the flag of the next most senior royal in the palace is flown and never at half staff even in mourning. The Union Jack is flown at half staff when a terrorist attack has occurred or a world leader has died. The protocol changed when Princess Diana died and the Queen was forced by public pressure to fly the flag at half-staff.

"No one's died overnight". Clarification from @chrisshipitv @GMB that global #Royal speculation is way off mark. No abdication either.

I have just read "London Bridge is Down" and I am convinced this is a rehearsal.
The Queen and the Duke are both rather "aged" and they love their royal protocol. They rehearsed the Queen Mother's funeral so much that they used the whole parade for Princess Diana's funeral.
After reading "London Bridge is Down" I am convinced this is a rehearsal.

I'm going to LOL if this turns out to be about Prince Harry getting married.

This will be fun, let's rehearse a Royal death?

Well let me just say if this turns out to be nothing I am going to be calling and complaining. Call to whom I don't know but I'll figure it out.

It's time. Anyone find out anything?

I feel like it is the game where people say, " You are getting warmer."
