Emergency meeting called at Buckingham Palace in London

Rosa Hwang @journorosa
Just talked to #BuckinghamPalace press office. No comment on reports of urgent summit. "Her Majesty and Prince Philip are alive and well."

Rosa Hwang Canadian CTV journalist.

Could the press office be lying to keep the news under wraps?

Or would they lie to the press?

So NZ and Canada are now suggesting both are alive? Seems to be odd sources...

I see this as a possibility. Prince Harry may be marrying.

Quoting myself to add that upon further reflection, and another cup of coffee , I don't think this would cause the entire staff to be called in.

I hope when I wake up tomorrow, it is to the news that this was all a hoax

i am stunned - if the last time someone passed was like in 2002 15 years later it is strange someone did not get the scoop

So then could it be not a death and noone REALLY has a clue??

That is a possibility, but I doubt it would require all staff to be called in at a late hour in the night. That could be done during "normal" working hours. MOO.

That is so long ago I am amazed no-one has said a word!!

Starting to wonder if no-one knows

and then what could that be

I thought I wonder if this is what it would be like if missles are inbound!!

I imagine they have their staff that lives in London but have ties with their other countries. Maybe they have been given a bit of what they can release.

I tend to agree.

But I worked as an executive admin and I was given all "inside" information before official announcements went out. Some of it was out of respect for me as I supported the exec's and some was out of necessity so I could assist in helping the rest of the staff with questions etc.

So I can see them being told before an official 8 am announcement if that is the case.
