EVIDENCE - Pro and Con

The cuffs don't really tell me anything as far as what happened to Heather. TM texting Heather and telling her that she would find her and it wouldn't be a great ending for Heather, tells me a lot. JMO

Are the actual texts from TM to HE available to read?

Wouldn't they have to have some sort of evidence besides video of truck and texts, pings, calls, to charge them with kidnapping and murder?

What concerns me now, is the video of the truck has not been proven to be the M's truck - only a similar truck.

Is the video image crystal clear of SM using the payphone?
Or is the image of a man with a similar build?
The bond hearing evidence reveal/retraction, casts a lot of doubt surrounding LE's decisions in this case imo.

That is interesting! A plethora of info in that article. Must dissect.

In a recent article I read from MyHorryNews, it said they were still waiting for their case to be heard.

This is why I am confused as to whether the search warrant information had OR had not been released to someone, somewhere. It sure appears to me that it has!

The first set of text messages were sent on November 1, 2013:

From Tammy to Heather: “someone’s about to get their a– beat down.. your b— is about to take his last breath… You can tell me where you are right now or I will find out another way… that way wont have a great turn out for you… I am giving you one last chance to answer before we meet in person.. only one.”

From Tammy to Heather: “I’ve been having Sidney followed since Jan. 2012.. it’s best you call back and speak to me, save yourself. Hey …… you ready to meet the MRS?”

From Heather to Tammy: “I think you are a little obsessed with me. I’m nobody you need to worry about anymore.”

Then, on November 3, 2013:

From Tammy to Heather: “by the way dad no longer owns a phone.”

Thank you!
You're quoting the article. I don't see actual quotes of the text messages within the article though.

Sometimes the media embellishes "facts" these days.
I know there's a social media thread with a lot of info there.
Just trying to spark my memory for now!

The media didn't "embellish facts" with TM's text messages to Heather. LE presented the texts at the first bond hearing and you are welcome to check the threads here at WS or you can find information from that first bond hearing by doing a simple google search.

Thanks, the article recaps the texts TM supposedly sent to HE in November of 2013.
I don't believe the conversations (the actual texts) have been released though, correct?

I'd like to know how contact began again too.
Is it known for certain that SM and HE had zero contact from late October until December 17th?

Released? Yes. Those "actual texts" were presented at the first bond hearing..up on the big screen...there are pics for you to help yourself to. :)

Any ideas on why they'd take the gaming systems?

Xbox live came out in 2002. They could connect to facebook, youtube, Netflix, etc...in 2013, via live Xbox connection (paid subscription $59.99 per year).

The kidnapping charges are what have always made me think in the back of my mind "they have something more" in evidence then what we know. I've been at every hearing - so that along with all the news articles etc -- I've wondered why that charge was in there. Plenty of people have murdered someone - moved the body - and NOT been charged with kidnapping. That says to me - they know something about what happened that caused them to charge with that in addition to the murder charge.

I know we discussed this a bit way back when - but don't recall coming up with anything substantive regarding evidence for that charge?

Welcome Hunderwood. Have you been following this case? What are your thoughts on what happened vs. the arrests and charges?

Some people may be of the opinion, these text messages are enough to conclude Tammy is guilty. They have certainly put her in the hot seat in the court of public opinion. If a Juror on this case, I would need more. If the state has more substantial evidence against her, the text messages may prove to be very damning. IMO

The messages were sent on the first and third day of November. Heather disappeared 47 days after the text messages were sent. It's obvious Tammy's main agenda was to intimidate Heather so she would answer her phone. My guess is, Tammy wanted to aggresively question Heather about the relationship. If Tammy had really wanted to find Heather to beat her a--, she could have easily tracked her down sooner than 47 days. True, the text messages are overly aggressive, but I would also have to consider the reason Tammy was so angry at that time. All that said, because of the 47 day time lapse, I would need more to tie the ranting in these particular messages to Heather's disappearance.

IMO

I guess I see it differently. TM,in her messages to Heather, is commanding Heather to tell her where she is. Clearly TM didn't know where Heather lived at that point. Heather wouldn't comply with TM's demands so TM had to, as she put it, find out another way. Heather had just moved and SM didn't know where to or TM wouldn't have had to ask Heather. Now TM had to find her without Heather's help. Also, TM loves watching Nancy Grace, I'm sure she could grasp the fact that letting some time pass between threats to Heather and killing Heather, would be to her benefit. TM threatened to "beat SM's 🤬🤬*.....Heather didn't get threatened with a beating. TM said....call me and "save yourself" or "it won't be a great turn out for you." TM didn't put a time limit on her threats. TM wasn't saying...meet us,call us, tell us where you are. It was meet ME,call ME,tell ME where you are. "Are you ready to meet the Mrs?" She didn't initially involve SM. But when she finally realized that Heather wasn't having anything to do with her craziness, she had to find another way and that's when she involved SM on 12/18. I believe that she used that time to find Heather and plan the murder.

Where was Heather living before she moved in with Bre, do we know?

It is possible that Heather discussed these texts as well with BW or another friend. If so, they may be able to testify that Heather was fearful of TM. Maybe that is why she was upset and crying when she spoke to BW after Sidney called her. She may have wanted to see Sidney, but was nervous over TM. I have often pondered whether SM had to reassure Heather that it was safe to meet up..... poor Heather. Where did they put you?

It will be interesting to see TM's "boyfriend" take the stand!

Has LE verified and located this individual? Was he "cleared"? Does he even exist?

I think the "boyfriend" was probably the mannequin found at the M's place. He's already in custody.

I think that's very possible. Others knew about the 90 some calls that Heather didn't answer.

What evidence do you think is in the home ? I am sure this has all been speculated before, but if they did find HE hair, or blood, or etc at the M's home couldn't that be from if SM brought her there while having the affair? (Obviously, a huge amount of blood or tissue is not likely from this, but if they found, say, a splotch of blood or etc that matched HE? I know when I mentioned this on FB in a group, they said there was no way SM took her to his home, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did, when the home was empty. (Regardless of his in laws living next door).

I think if he took her to his home her friends will know, Heather seemed to have been free in sharing with them what was going on with SM. So I'm pretty sure she would have talked about his home, if nothing but to describe it. I honestly don't think he would be that bold, it appears to be rather communal where they live and TM home schooled the kids, it would be hard to find a way to take her there when no one was around. All my opinion.
