Not sure if this qualifies, but the phone call from jail when she asks Lee for Tone's number.Christine gets on and KC rants a while .When Christine starts crying about Caylee KC says"calling you guys,a waste, a huge waste"
And the phone comments that all anyone cares about is finding Caylee......duh!

Thanks, that's the quote I was trying to remember from the call. Thanks! All I could remember for sure was the desperation for TonE's #.

So, um, about that list.... c'mon, you know you couldn't resist that puppy... :)

ETA: See #15

ETA #2: C'mon folks, I know you remember more details. Spill. Please?

To everyone --- keep in mind the lists are an ongoing project, so please look for updates and please add things to update with! TIA!

ETA: Also keep in mind the GJ indicted in less than 30 minutes. Let's try to figure out why. Yes, state can indict a ham sandwich, so they say, but I doubt if less than 30 min. is common time to deliberate on premeditated murder indictment.

The purpose of this list is to try to prove that Caylee was in the trunk of the Pontiac and that KC is the only one that could have put here there.

To rephrase Imackon's excellent analysis:

1. Multiple witnesses have given statements regarding the odor, including trained LE officers.

2. KC's text messages acknowledge a smell of death; she tried to give a reasonable explanation of a dead squirrel but the evidence shows no sign of a squirrel or other animal. No sign of squirrel found by investigators and they did look. With her overall lack of credibility and it being only her text that indicates a squirrel rather than a human body... Also indicates vehicle in her possession during time of decompositional event.

3. Multiple trained cadaver dogs from different sources hit on the trunk.

4. Hair from deceased Anthony family member (mitochondrial DNA) found in trunk.

5. GA and CA statements regarding the smell, including GA I believe under oath.

6. Air sample tests from Body Farm indicating 2.6 days-ish human decompositional event. It was approximately 2.6 days from the time Caylee was last seen alive until the time KC backed into the garage and borrowed a shovel from neighbor.

7. Evidence of clean up in the car; coverup -- if trying to "frame" KC, why clean up?

8. Papertowels in trunk contained decomp from Caylee. **** disputed

9. Baez admission in court that KC had sole possesion *** admissable??

10. Stranger wouldn't know location of car or have keys to put body in trunk

11. Imaginanny can't know location of car or have keys because she doesn't exist

12. Car seat and favorite 'mama' doll in car ***** This should probably be on Jolynna's list; team?

13. The stain in the trunk ***** what do we know about this?

14. Chloroform *** possible evidentiary value depending on case theory

15. Dirt in the car *** or do we already know no significance?

16.

I don't need #6 to be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that there was a dead body in the trunk of the Pontiac. I accept it and would rely on #6 if I was on the jury, but I don't need it, kwim?

So whose dead body was it? From the hair, we can conclude it was an Anthony family member. From the total circumstance, it being in KC's possession; she being the last seen w/Caylee; Caylee being the only known Anthony family member to die around the time frame of the smell, etc., I think it's reasonable to conclude it was Caylee; absent a showing from the defense that it was someone else's dead body and that would open a big can of worms, wouldn't it? lol I highly doubt the defense will try to use the SODDIT defense --- (Some Other Dude Died In Trunk) because I don't see it getting them anywhere other than another charge to KC, lol. (joking)

So, are we convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that:

a. there was a dead body in the Pontiac?

b. the body was Caylee's?

(This is an essay quiz, please explain your answers!!)

ETA: Thanks Jolynna, MissJames, trafficsUP66, jcamille and everyone who contributes!

There are questions next to some items; please help by sharing info or opinion.

Is there anything else about the car trunk we haven't covered?

I think that a reasonable conclusion would be Caylee's body was in the trunk.
There is so much evidence that I don't believe the defense will bother trying to dispute it.
They may dispute the timeline or chain of custody, depending on what their defense is.
Before Caylee was found dead the defense had a reason to dispute [alive Caylee] but that's no longer the case. I think a jury may be hardened if the defense tries to get them to believe Caylee was not in that trunk ,at some point.
Also, the neighbor saw the car backed into the garage, which he said was unusual. That will paint a picture for the jury IMO.

Caylee being fatherless? Lying to family concerning Caylee's biological father! Not involving Caylee's father or his family in her "life". WHO does that? Didn't she tell multiple people varying stories as to the circumstances related to Caylee's creation? Doesn't this speak to MOTIVE?

I wonder what she would tell Caylee herself, if she was old enough to ask..."Momma, who is MY daddy?"

Yeah, Caylee ended up with at least three dead guys as her dad.

One guy was killed on the road.. in April.. on the way to Caylee's b'day.. in August! No wonder he was killed! He was going 2.3 MPH on a freeway!

Why didn't she pick up her car from Amscot? Why didn't she inform her parents that the car was towed? Why didn't she use the money she stole from Amy to get her car outta the tow yard?

Remember when CA tried to ask her that, during a jail visit? KC almost stomped out.

She balled up her little fists, and stuck out her underlip.

Yes, lots of whys??? I wonder why she didn't just swing into the gas station beside Amscott when she noticed she was outta gas?

Due to my actually having the float in my gas tank not working properly, the fancy pants gauge didn't correctly register... and I'm being honest :) the car sputtered, like loses power, but I was able to get myself to a gas station. KC would have noticed this occuring before she passed the gas station (which was beside the Amscot from my recollection).

I'd really like to know how close that parking space was to the entrance of Amscot. As I doubt the people who supposedly pushed her car in wouldn't have wanted to pass many convenient empty spaces to put her car near the dumpster imo

Perhaps she thought the car had been stolen? Remember the letter went straight to the A's as the car was registered in their name.

Casey left the car at the Amscot because she wanted to be rid of it. It stunk and she didn't want her friends to smell it. She knew if she left it there it would be towed. She couldn't very well take it home and go "here you go", now could she? I don't think she cared about the tow yard notifying the A's that it was there either. Because then she could just say the smell wasn't her fault .... that she didn't know what happened to it after she left it.

I was just looking at the evidence photos of the recovery scene and from the search in the A's home after Caylee was found. It struck me that they may be able to use the heart sticker to show Caylee was most likely killed at home. Unless there is evidence that KC took the stickers with her, they seem to be a home item. This is just a small link to the home, but important, nontheless.
Also ,I noticed there were no pictures in the album that is otherwise arranged with stickers and writing. The evidence photos show bulletin boards in KC's room covered in pics of Caylee.I wonder if CA removed these pics from the album to place on the bulletin boards when she "staged" KC's room for that exclusive media tour of the home.

Morning MissJames! You and I have always agreed on this aspect of the case. The "staging" of the house/Caylee's & KC's rooms for the media. It sounds more likely that CA did what you suggest, if LE wanted to pics they'd have taken the entire album.

Which was exactly why she left it there IMO. So that there would be the "thief" to blame for the decomp.

There was no rush; it was just a 'whenever' thing. Wasn't even necessary so didn't want to be demanding. But thanks for the invite...

How about all those emails she faked about her job at Universal? Those took a lot of effort to create. More so than KC's creating herself as zanni-nanny.

I agree but am not sure how that goes to prove murder? Could go to a general character list. You up for doing a general character list? She's a liar and a thief kind of thing? Including facts that don't necessarily go to show she murdered Caylee but just that she's a lowlife. Of course, there would be some overlap between lists; general lowlife character is also shown by not helping LE, etc.
