I agree. I think Ron thought that Misty was calling 911 on him too and Misty switched her reason to call 911 to Charles at the last second.

that's a possibility, but I keep thinking about Misty & Donna Brock's road incident-so similar & Ron wasn't present. The common denominator is Misty. I think road raging with a gun is something Misty learned from Ron, & then he picked it back up. like the drug dealing. she learned it from Ron & then he picked it back up. weird.

Did Misty ever say anything to you specific?

Misty was drinking one night and told him that she overheard Ronald talking to a black male outside a conv. store she was in the truck and cracked the window, and the black male told Ron he knew who had Haleigh and would return her by Friday. Misty was scared after hearing this.

He believes ( charles) that Misty has something to do with this disappearence. Always told him how much she loved Haleigh, said Haleigh would wake up alot at night because her legs would hurt and she would have to rub them for her...
I just got cut off again...

I haven't listened to the show yet so please bear with me if I'm asking stupid questions. But why was Misty afraid (allegedly)? If some black guy says he knows who has Haleigh, wouldn't she be glad, because she can now call LE and report a promising tip which might lead to a live Haleigh and get her off the hook?

I'm begining to think Haleigh left that house in the clothes she wore to school. I think the pink shirt story was told to make Misty look good, like she had given her a bath and put her in night clothes.

If this is what happened, it's further proof we're not talking of the sharpest pencils here. I mean, who outside the family is going to know what Haleigh wore to bed? Why describe a shirt that she actually has and which will be found at home? Why not just invent some clothing? Who is going to prove them wrong, unless Haleigh is found wearing something else?

If someone promises they'll return your missing child by Friday, why would that make you scared? Besides being afraid that it might not be true?

It doesn't make any sense to me and I'd say it's probably not true... but why make such a thing up? Obviously nobody returned Haleigh by Friday so it's not gonna get anybody off the hook, is it?

maybe she made it up because she has become addicted to the attention that Haleigh brings her. She & Ron are drama junkies. Throw Teresa into that mix too.

I listened to the 911 call (Misty's) on the road rage incident again and didn't hear any sound of kids in the car. I don't know if anyone else could hear them. It is highly possible they were too scared to make any noise.

You know Searchfortruth, I didn't hear them either. However, I see it differently than you. I think if they were there and they were scared, there would be some crying or whinning going on. But, maybe I'm just thinking back to how my two kids would have reacted. They were never quiet about anything. jmo

After finally listening to the show this morning, I was quite surprised at CJ. He was very easy to understand and seemed very lucid--as opposed to most of the other players in this fiasco of a case. I'm wondering if he might be a friend of CS' brother Marcus--they're around the same age I think.

Lots of interesting observations. Almost like RC is playing Svengali opposite MC's Trilby. Which makes it more difficult to understand why LE would want to pump her up with the love message from RC. It seems like they would want her to get mad at him instead and spill her guts for spite. But, what do I know.

The road rage thingy was at night, wasn't it? If there were small children in the car, strapped in their safety seats, they might have been sleeping. If I have to take mine out in a car late at night I can guarantee they'll sleep like logs no matter what happens.

But I'm not sure which children they would have had with them. Jr. and who else? Who would be nutty enough to leave their children in Misty and Ronald's care?

I still need to listen to this--was engrossed in the olympics, but about the shirt. Does that mean, in other words, she had no idea what Haleigh wore that day? I would guess it wouldn't have been too difficult to ask the teacher what she wore to school--no doubt not the shirt they claimed.

doobiedoo, thanks for bringing this forth. There are so many contradictions with these two and anything surrounding Haleigh.
If I had to drive to another place in a hurry to get a specific outfit for a child and rush to get back to school on time, I would remember that outfit. It wasn't as if anyone picked something at random from a closet at home.
Just another story to keep LE from straying too close to the truth. jmo
