"Exhibit C" Cindy and Nejame Emails

I am way behind on things, and just starting to dig in on these, but, what kind of attorney uses a hotmail address? Just saying.

One who doesn't want this kind of cr*p in his personal or business email - especially if it's going to end up in the public eye for everyone to see,and every crackpot to respond to? Whoops, thought you referring to Mark NeJames - guess my answer doesn't work at all!<blush> Let me rework - hmm - josebegood - ah - cause he doesn't have another one?

I think he'd been erring on the side of compassion and patience for a long time. It didn't outlast the connection, hence this letter. Let's not forget their behaviour, they can't use the fact that they're a grieving family to excuse them for the pain they caused others, and not expect to suffer the consequences.

ITA! They trot out the grieving family speech anytime they think it benefits them or attempting to side step a direct question. Sorry, but George and Cindy have been at this crap from the very beginning. They are in this together. I hope MN does write a book and speaks of exactly what went down and when they knew the truth. This email is nothing more than a ploy to slander MN, Tim and gain the court's sympathy and the TES records. I was watching the video of MN and Tim's presser about the area being under water and GA barged in, making himself the focus. When asked what the "misunderstanding" from Baez was, he did his shoulder shrug and went into his shcpeal of "I just want to know what happened. I need to know what happened." Ended it with another shrug.
And I loved Josebegood...

WHAT in the world was that I saw??.....Jose Baez forwarding/sending these emails to Beth Karas at Turner.com? Am I reading this correctly? Out of curiousity....were these emails part of a doc dump? I'm always amazed at what gets released to the public in this case. NEVER would have thought to get access to this type of correspondence!!!! YCMTSU!!!!!!

I think Cindy's email shows us that's she's fabricated a whole scenario in which she and Casey are victimized. Cindy seems self-righteous and paranoid in her fantasy-world beliefs.

It's hard to fathom that Cindy looks upon LE as an adversary. In her email she says it was a priority of OCSD to prove that Casey did something to Caylee and they never looked anywhere else.

Does Cindy know how LE works? Does she realize the number of hours that went into background checks on all the people that Casey socialized with, going through cell phone records, checking out where each one was on the day that Caylee was last seen and in the weeks prior and weeks after? After a thorough investigation and accumulation of evidence, they cleared all but Casey Anthony.

Yes, Casey was arrested right away, on charges of lying to a police officer (she admitted she lied), obstruction of justice (she purposely led LE on a wild goose chase), and child neglect (she couldn't account for her child's whereabouts). But it was a full three months later, when they had investigated all others, and had accumulated evidence, that they charged Casey with first degree murder.

Does Cindy realize that none of Casey's friends had any reason to murder Caylee? Does she realize what an injustice it is for her to continue to suggest that someone else is suspect when they've been cleared?

Cindy states that Tim Miller was never there for Caylee, he came for the media, and then goes on to say he was working for the sheriffs dept., not for Caylee. This is a real insult for someone like Tim Miller, who has always been there for the victim, in this case, Caylee. Of course he was there for Caylee, and he coordinated his search efforts with LE, who were also there for Caylee.

What's really self evident with Cindy's email is that those who were dedicated to finding Caylee - the OCSD, Tim Miller, Mark Nejame - they've all become her personal adversaries. It would appear that finding Caylee was not Cindy's goal.

I applaud Mark Nejame for his response to Cindy's email with a well written, professional, and courteous email, setting the record straight. He should be commended for his restraint. :)

I have to say I'm surprised a lawyer would say some of these things to a grieving family. A very short, professional response that had more compassion for the Anthonys might have been more appropriate IMO, you know, just take the high road. Who could really bring themselves to say some of these things to people who are in their terrible position? Why not just say "I assure you that the documents are available and have been since x date." etc.
And probably add, "My deepest condolences for your loss."
Now, he's human too, everybody loses it sometimes. But considering their position you would think he'd try to err on the side of compassion and patience. He seems like such a professional guy I was just surprised reading what he wrote to be honest.

I believe MN realized in Nov 2008 exactly what this grieving family was up to. From his announcement that he was leaving I took that he was not happy with their behavior, not happy with their refusal to see what was in front of them, and refused to go along with their schemes. I do not believe it was denial. I believe it was full fledged protect Casey mode. I believe he saw a grieving family turn their back on their murdered grandchild and try to sell themselves as sympathetic and browbeaten by LE. It didn't work then and it doesn't work now. So, I believe MN showed restraint in dealing with this shrew.

I would love to be a fly on B. Conway's wall. It's amazing how long he continues to put up with the Anthonys. Man must be a saint.

respectfully bolded by me

Yes I do too. He was so calm, if I were him I would have acted like that steward did this week, yell a profanity over the speaker, grab a couple of beers and slid down the emergency shoot away from CA...kind of not kidding LOL.

I don't think he would ever have in this lifetime the opportunity to get this much press or this much TV face time.

What's that saying - it doesn't matter what people are saying about you as long as they are talking about you. <Close?>

RBBM.

ITA. And I also TA with your statement that I bolded above. Who has Cindy had in her crosshairs since early morning July 16, 2008? EVERY SINGLE PERSON OR ENTITY that has questioned Casey's innocence. I am continually astounded that the woman who could make that panicked third 911 call is the same woman who would malign Tim Miller, who would say that Mark NeJame tried to get her to "throw Casey under the bus," who would allow KC's accusations against GA and LA to stand unchallenged...

If this gets that far, may the jury (oops, just mis-typed "fury") see all that we see, ask the questions we have asked, and come to the only reasonable conclusions possible. :furious:

Would it be inappropriate for us websleuthers to send MR. Nejame flowers for his accomplishment in putting this "unusual" person in her place? Oh, and not to mention, for being such a stand up, honest, giving person and for making it all about Caylee!!! I'll treat!!

Natasha.............I love the idea, and I think it would be appropriate after the trial is over. :)

Mark Nejame's email was a response to a vicious attack by Cindy in which she made a number of allegations, attacking not only MN, but TM, OCSD, JM, and others. I think Mark Nejame's email was very appropriate, professional, and set the record straight.

It's a little odd to me that I clearly remember MN saying from the outset that he would not be representing KC in any way, but her own mother, his client, the grandmother of the victim, does not. I would have expected her to be concentrating on his terms of engagement better than some random person thousands of miles away who doesn't know any of them. It's like that family has a forcefield around them that is a Bermuda Triangle for truths.

Well said!!:applause:

I'd love to read the letter or email that started all of this from Cindy. So, MN sends this response to Brad to send to Cindy/George. Does Cindy then send it to Jose? It would seem so as the email addy is hers to Jose with a little note that this is her response to MN (for Brad to read). Then Jose gets the bright idea to send the emails (Cindy's response to MNs email and MNs email) to Beth Karas with InSession. And the purpose of Jose doing that was? So the lawyer that filed a motion for change of venue because of the media saturation surrounding this case, therefore his client cannot get a fair trial in that county, who held a press conferrence right after filing that motion to let the media know what he filed, now forwards an email exchange to a person of the media???? Wow! What a very foolish thing to do.

ETA: Good catch Gma Kat!!!

Thank you LancelotLink! So despite what the court has decided Cindy decided that her wants were more important?!? Surprise! What a shocker! I don't blame MN for being upset after that.

OMG...who knows how much he had to endure before this?

Seriously, from someone who has had unimaginable loss, there's just so long you can use the "grieving" card. I do believe Cindy needs to finally deal with her grief because it's manifesting itself in unhealthy anger.

JMHO

He saw through their BS when the rest of us were feeling sorry for them. Every stunt, yes, STUNT they have pulled was to garner more sympathy from the public and the court. These people are despicable!!
They have courted the media and all of us with their grieving.
MN knows exactly what happened and how his good name was used in their effort to free their daughter. For her to accuse TM of not helping them is her way of pushing his buttons using the loss of his own daughter. This little nugget she tossed him solidifies my utter disgust for her and her husband:
"He knows better than anyone how important it is for the family of the missing to get the answers that they need."
What a cruel, manipulative and hurtful thing to say to him.

Just curious...how does she expect the searchers to give her the answers that she needs? They're not going to tell her how Caylee died.
