If you watch the video here at full screen you can get a pretty good idea that #2's hat is indeed a Ralph Lauren Polo hat with the number 3 on the side.

I agree.....I can clearly see the 3 just as he is going out of frame, and the polo logo when he is walking away!

Does perp 2's shoes look to big in the video? Or maybe it's just my lousy vision, or the footage, but his shoes look bigger than they should be in proportion to his body to me.

I thought it was just that slouchy knees-wide way that teenage boys affect when they're being cool.

Oh, good thinking! Maybe that's why I think his shoes look too big, b/c his knees are bent. That makes the downward video angle make them look disproportionate.

Has the FBI released what they guess is their approximant height and weight? Suspect 2 looks slight to me in these pictures. I think that would be helpful

Sometimes boys about 15 or 16 have proportionately large feet and hands because they're still growing into them.

I really really hope he's not as young as he looks.

I'm thinking it could be like those two guys who went on the shooting spree in Maryland a few years back. One older and one just a teenager.

My husband has a pair of these, I believe from Old Navy, from last year or the year before, elastics on the bottom and all. (I don't see the elastic-bottomed ones on Old Navy web site now or else I'd link to them.) There's nothing too special about the pants IMO. reading into them that they are some kind of military fatigues is going to the extreme.

boston_baby, I do read and look at things differently. It started when my son enlisted in the United States Army and trained to be an EOD tech.

And you're right, Old Navy does sell a lot of knock-off military style clothing. My cashier was a 5 star general the last time I was there.

The suspect in the white hat has a distinctive profile and the pictures that eileen posted up thread show his face pretty clearly. I don't think it will be long before someone sees the pic and recognizes him. At least I hope so.
