Wow, if they were contacting via social media that day they had to be young. Wouldn't most adults know any and everything done electronically can and will be found, coded or not?

They could have the ego that there invisable and no one would catch them. Most everyone also knows cameras are everywhere and that didn't stop them either. I think they are probably between the ages 20-28 by the pictures. I think the one in the khaki pants was trying to hard to change his image with the attire etc. Maybe it's because the sunglasses and the hat with the visor not sure but it looks odd compared to his friend.

Catherine Herridge on Fox is talking about how she got information from some LE sources in DC,that LE used social media to connect these two. I won't be able to explain it right, but it was something about how the FBI was able to watch messages and tweets from a 3 mile radious of the bombing and some of them appeared to be coded. and they followed these codes? I'm sorry I can't explain it better. If I can find a video of it,I will post .

Amazing. Thanks for reporting that!

I'm looking for info regarding the timing... when the backpacks were placed & how far away the suspects would have been at the time of the blast. Links, anyone? TIA!

Even Al Qaeda makes mistakes..we got bin laden. ^i^

I think this means they are not being directed by any larger organization, such as Al Qaeda. They would be better trained/instructed, IMO.

Well, the Shoe Bomber (thank God) was not any top notch well trained terrorist...or the one who tried to blow up Times Square. Not all Al Queada operatives are crack operators at all.

Suspect #1 has body language that suggests to me that he is in charge or running the thing- #2 is younger and seems more nervous and unsure of himself. Could they be siblings, or even father/son? #1 looks like he took time to conceal his ID, #2 looks like he didn't bother and he may be the one that brings them both down.

I agree, white cap looks extremely at ease to a point where it may bring them both down.

Folks need to also remember they also have white cap on video leaving the area after the explosion, we just didn't see it. That probably nailed it for them.

I wonder what they have on the black cap guy that solidifies for them that he is involved.

I was just thinking why wouldn't they have been aware that those businesses along that street, would almost certainly or at least more than likely, have cameras in front of the store.

Also, if they were talking on the cell or used a cell to detonate the bombs, it's all over the tv and has been for years (crime shows, news, etc.) that LE can track pings, etc.

The posting to social media for the footprint of an area is new to me. I didn't know about that one until hockeymom brought it up.

Then add to all of that people were taking pictures all over the place and didn't they have cameras filming footage at the finish line?

Pretty unsophisticated. IMHO

Someone on here identified the type of bag from the zipper photo. Do either of the bags match the type of bag?

I haven't seen it reported by LE when the backpacks were laid down. But someone back thread gave a timestamp for the pics that LE released--I think? Not sure.

Just an update regarding the picture someone on Reddit captured outside the Forum at the 2nd bomb site, which shows the suspect 1 with dark cap walking towards the 1st bomb site. He says the picture was taken at 2:44. So he had around 6 minutes to get to the 1st bomb site and detonate it.

BBM: Are we sure suspect 2 is not the guy seen running, jumping over others wearing tattered pants?

At the presser, FBI stated the bags were placed just minutes before they detonated.

I hope this is true! And, that FBI/LE will let the citizens of the USA have them when they are done with them!

I hope that redditor submitted the info to FBI. Great info about the time stamp.

Praying these bastages are caught soon. How can these two seem so nonchalant when they are readying to cause death and harm? Imo

Suspect 2 was at bomb site 2, not one. The pic is from site one.

I think "white" has become a generic term for anyone with "light" skin, just as "black" has become generic for anyone with "darker then light" skin.

It's ridiculous really.

How can anyone label someone a certain "race" by looking at them?

These terms "white" "black" etc are so outdated. Without a dna test who knows really what "race" anybody is?

For that matter, most of us, despite what we may think, or were told, don't even know what "race" we are!

Proof here.

I think a better description would have been, one has light complexion and has a large nose and the other is slightly darker than the first, staying away from the guessing game of race.

I wondered about that too. The runner seems to have dark, curly hair. I'm going to check out his shoes. :moo:
