Oh okay, since nobody mentioned him I figured it was just Carlos.

Sorry I can't find a link, but it was an hour or so ago when the interview ran on FNC.....it was only a minute or so long.

DM has three photos of a young person appearing to run away from the explosion -- matches the image of the ones posted above, wearing black, side-burns, dark, short hair (but not shaved or buzzed). Could be unrelated but also seems to be a fairly close to match....

If he were running away before the explosion-that would be suspcious. As it is, I am not sure why someone trying to run away after the explosion would be suspicious.

If you look at those carefully - 2 guys are running- one is bent over and to the left of the one highlighted

Regarding a male with black backpack-that back pack looks small and not very full. I don't think a pressure cooker would fit in it.
It would have to be someone with a large bag/backpack.

Was the bag placed on or near the grid around the tree in the second photo?

I think these are ball bearings in this photo.

In this photo the mail box is intact, which is why I believe they're saying the bombs were placed in garbage bins. If the bomb was near that mail box it would have been blown to pieces (or at least have a dint in it).

Good point. Mailbox appears to be fine. If there were a bomb right next to it wouldn't it be blown up?

the backpack he has on doesnt mean that anything was inside that one. he could have been carrying something by hand and just dropped it all while wearing a small backpack. my point is that hes pictured at both crime scenes within minutes..

which gets me to another point that no one has brought up yet..
two massive pressure cookers.. could one guy even carry two pressure cookers? that would stand out like a sore thumb if its even possible. im now thinking this is more than one guy involved.. once again in my pic you can see the guy in the back pack walking with a guy in a red hat. hmmm

Very good point. How could one guy carry not one, but two pressure cookers without anybody noticing? Doesn't that suggest at least two people were involved?

If a doctor was working on saving Martin prior to his death then I think we can rest assured that the photo up for debate is not of him. No way would a doctor even try and work on someone in that condition -- there's really nothing left to work with.

I think it would also make sense that this photo is not of the third deceased person, as that person is apparently female and of Asian decent. It also sounds like she may be the one who did not sustain any visible injuries that would have resulted in death since we know Krystal did and Martin was identified as a young male.

IMO, that photo is real but was taken at some other time, some other bombing site. I agree with a prior poster that it would make sense that this is a photo of a suicide bomber, due to the leg being in tact and the upper body being mangled (the opposite type of bodily damage as that which happened to the marathon victims). That, coupled with the fact that the dotted white lines in the photo do not match the uninterrupted white lines at the marathon make me think this photo is unrelated and planted for gruesome effect.

ETA: I tried to post a link to the photo I am referencing but it posted the actual photo on my comment. I don't want to glorify this image in any way so if you're confused about which photo I'm referencing, let me know and I'll try to find a better way of linking up to it. Thanks.

I think now, that it is indeed an unrelated photo. The aerial shots of both blast scenes afterwards do not show any blood that far into the street. It's surely not from this tragedy.

I would imagine facial recognition software is being run on all photos / videos and crosschecked against known terrorist suspects...

In this image you can see AA woman in the red shirt just put on the stretcher. Looks like she was in the main area where bomb #1 went off.

Chicago-area woman Beth Roche suffered leg injuries in Boston bombings, recovering in hospital

Short article about one of the survivors. She should be able to recover from what I take away from the article.

Kind of left center you see here an emergency worker cradling the little boy that is seen later in a maroon football jersey being pushed in a wheel chair. So he was also right in the center of bomb #1.

Former Patriot, cancer survivor Joe Andruzzi among heroes

According to the article Mr. Azevedo owns the Forum restaurant where one of the bombs went off.

This caught my eye:

the FBI investigation because the explosion happened right at our doorsteps. We have camera footage that they’re looking at right now.”

Azevedo, who was not at the restaurant during the bombing, said he had not viewed the surveillance footage prior to the FBI confiscating it

Two of his employees sustained severe leg injuries.

Yes, if he is living close by or parked close by he (assuming it's a male) could have accomplished that by himself. So far we have not seen any photos of someone with a large bag-which is surprising?

I know I'm going to be in the minority here, but highlighting a person who is probably innocent bothers me. I don't see his reaction as suspicious. He's just witnessed a horrific event, his clothes were nearly blown off his body. I don't think running away is unusual.

We all like to think we would be the ones running towards the blast to help. But nobody can predict what their reaction will be in a situation like that. You might freeze. Fight or flight might kick in.

IF this young person is innocent (there IS a chance he's involved, of course) I hope he doesn't feel guilt for running away (and having it plastered all over the news).

There's no judgment from me. Until I've been in that situation - and I pray I never am - I can't say how I'd respond.

I agree. Running away after bomb went off doesn't seem suspicious to me at all. But thankfully you can't see his face so it would be hard to recognize him from this photo.

We might not be looking far enough back. The bombs could have been placed long before the first runners crossed the finish line.

I understand they had bomb-sniffing dogs go through the area that day. So they must have, IMHO, placed it there during the hours or even minutes just prior to the end of the race.

IF we think about it, the timing was to ignite after the front runners came in, and the larger portion of the participants were due to cross the finish line. At least that's my understanding from news accounts ;though I must admit I haven't watched all programming on this tragedy, meaning not all news stations.
