Stainless would cost more than an aluminum one and not be Used for canning unless it's a larger one. Just wo dering if it was something the bomber had in the home.

Did you already send this in as a tip?
I agree it is certainly a coincidence.

heres something even more interesting which i just picked up...

in the photo taken within 5 mins off the blast, there appears to be two guys bending over something on the ground and maybe a third guy who is over near the victims and all three are dressed in black jackets..

Yes, I saw that too!

At the link there's a comment about it, and you can see that the guy is bending down in both the 'before' and 'after' photos.

This is the quote from the link:
Notice the 2 people in a couple of photos that are together. One is wearing a gray puffy looking coat, and the other is in black, bent over attending to something on the ground. In the picture with the orange oval marking the " Approx. detonation site", the 2 people are immediately to the right of the oval, behind the man in the brown, suede-looking jacket. Just pointing it out.

Just imo, I don't think the circled child is Martin Richards.

But I see many people wearing backpacks (see lady in green shirt with black straps) in second picture. See lady in purple shirt with black straps in last picture. I think there were a lot of folks carrying backpacks that day for water, snacks, etc. When you say suspect, has he been identified as one?

Thanks,

Mel

Kind of left center you see here an emergency worker cradling the little boy that is seen later in a maroon football jersey being pushed in a wheel chair. So he was also right in the center of bomb #1.

I think the boy may be 11-year-old Aaron Hern from Martinez CA. His mother ran her first Boston Marathon.

Looking at the boy in the wheelchair, he looks younger than 11, so I don't think it's Aaron, who was also near the first bomb and one of the youngest injured.

I think this is a picture of Aaron's father Alan after the bomb explosion.

Just throwing this out here I don't know anything about bombs, but the stuff to make the bomb was it purchased at a store? Could they get video tapes from stores to see if the items where purchased there to make the bomb? And would lead to a suspect maybe or suspects. Just an idea.

without a shot of his face there is no way to ascertain it's the same person. and, to me, it looks like those are two different styles of backpacks: one being a slouchy type and the other more square/boxy...

interesting points in here...

IS THIS THE BOMBER? Man With Black Backpack Before Bombing – Then Without Backpack Moments Before Blast

heres something even more interesting which i just picked up...

first it's the guy in black... then it's a guy wearing brown... then it's more than one guy in black puffy/heavy coats...

it's a bit um, like you're trying too hard (is that the right phrase here?)

This looks like the Grand Stands. I believe the bombs were across the street from the stands. Correct me if I'm wrong.

if you zoom in to the right hand side of the photo that was taken before the bomb exploded there is a guy walking away and hes got a black backpack on.. just to the left of the lamp-post
http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/...usive-fbi-investigating-photo-that-shows-bag/

and i think i see the same guy in the other pic over on the left hand side next to a guy with a red hat on...

Walking about 10 feet in front of the guy with the black backpack is a woman in black, and she appears to be carrying something large and black. Can anyone make out what that item is?

not really.. just throwing some things out there that stand out as a bit suspicious.. 2 guys fiddling with something on the ground right next to the area where a bomb went off on the ground.. slightly suspicious.

another guy appearing in both scenes where bombs went off wearing a black backpack (after every newspaper in the world said that theyre after someone with a black backpack) once again my curiousity levels rise..

do you think fbi just follow one lead at a time and one lead only? of course not they have different hypothesis that they follow and explore at any given time..

im just throwing out a few things out there that ive taken interest in due to what information ive read about..

this pic is taken from a hi-res pic that was taken 5 mins before the bombs and you can make out the faces of approx 1000 people and what they are carrying.
you can also make out some of the people injured in the bigger pic. ie the two girls, the 3 asian people, the guy with the baseball cap on... etc..

im fairly sure the fbi will be looking at this pic very closely.
