DCF cannot order any of her doctors to put her on ANY meds. She has a team of physicians who coordinate her care. You are attempting to make it sound like "DCF" is doing all kinds of things to her. They cannot. They cannot prescribe meds. They cannot order doctors to drug her. They cannot waive her HIPPA rights.

They can not order doctors to drug her, but they keep putting her into psychiatric facilities that have doctors who can prescribe psychotropic drugs. This new facility is again psychiatric.

Apparently DCFs from different states stick together. Because CT DCF never removed custody from the parents prior to Justina going to BCH.
So how do you explain that, exactly?

When asked by the judge, they said they were "still investigating".

Later, when he asked again, they substantiated the parents FOR NEGLECT, and recommended AGAINST returning her home.

How did they investigate anything when Justina was in custody of MA DCF at that point?
How could parents have possibly neglected her if she was not even in their custody and they were getting supervised visitations one hour per week?

Is that supposed to be scary? A psychiatric facility? Oh no! Are we Scientologists, we don't believe that some people have mental illnesses, that may or may not require meds? Also, you realize that not all psychiatric care is meds, right?

Have I fallen down the rabbit hole of some anti-psychology/psychiatry world? Are people in America no longer "believing" in mental illness, like "not believing" in evolution, the Big Bang, climate change, and other assorted things that most of the world has considered settled?!

Obviously what they were investigating is the time that Justina was in their "care".

I suspect you know that, though.

I don't have link to GAL testimony. And what testimony?

It's her court appointed lawyer that supported reunification with parents, not her GAL. They are not one and the same. And I never claimed otherwise.

And I never saw any articles about her long term pediatrician, so I would really appreciate links supporting this claim.

How did CT DCF not have entire picture? She lived in that state.

Wrong. Her court appointed attorney is the guardian ad litem and recommended she not return home.

If her parents weren't so uncooperative and threatening she would be home by now.
There would be no reason to place her in a locked secured facility.
She would have went to a foster home.
Her parents ruined that option. They protest outside, harass other children's parents, threaten expensive & time consuming legal action and bring along a three ring circus of whackos everywhere they go. No one wants the headache. that's why she is, where she is now and before.

All IMO

Here's something about the pediatrician. Apparently he or she was concerned about doctor shopping.
In February, the morning after the Valentine’s Day drama when the state had taken emergency custody of Justina at the request of Children’s, the Pelletiers, had appeared in juvenile court to ask for their daughter back. One of the key pieces of evidence presented to Juvenile Court Judge Joseph Johnston had been an affidavit filed by a state social worker, following her interviews with all the major parties.

The affidavit showed considerable deference to Children’s. It quoted liberally from hospital records and interviews with staff members there, including accusations that Justina’s parents were obstructing her care. It said the Children’s doctors “do not know where the parents picked up the current diagnosis and they are hard to disprove.” It included negative comments from Justina’s Connecticut pediatrician about how Linda and Lou had “fired” multiple doctors and “encouraged” the diagnosis of multiple medical problems.

Totally false. Her court appointed attorney supports reunification.

"Tuesday’s decision came in response to a motion, presented by the girl’s court-appointed lawyer and the lawyers for her parents, which called for the parents to be awarded “conditional custody” of their daughter."

How could they possibly investigate the time when Justina was in parents care? I didn't realize DCF invented time machine and ability to go back in time.

They expect her parents to play a supportive role and embrace the diagnosis and the team.

They do not want her parents sabotaging treatment by making false allegations, calling any member of the team derogatory names, threatening or otherwise harass the treatment care providers. And yes, that includes in the media.

They expect the parents to fully comply with the conditions of the plan so Justina can be reunified with her parents, in the home, and without supervision.

They want the medical team that's been put together to oversee her medical care and the parents to accept that.

Thank you for saying what I've wanted to say.

DCF invents the time machine all the time and investigates allegations of things that happened in the past, interviews people about what they've witnessed, reads records, etc. . It is rather rarely that someone decides to abuse their child at the same time a DCF worker is in their house to witness everything in real time.

I think they just want the parents to shut up. The armed guards and limited visits lead people to believe the parents are guilty of something which is exactly what the state wants. It's ridiculous, these people aren't dangerous.

The armed guards could be there because of the threats to kidnap/take Justina home. MOO

From what Globe reported, CT DCF investigated while Justina was living with her parents and dismissed the allegations of medical neglect.
So I find it very funny that all of the sudden, after MA DCF contacted them, CT DCF chimed in claiming they substantiated something. Whereas before they didn't.

Good thing those whose job it is now to protect Justina didn't find it funny at all.

i know because obviously things that have happened in the past cannot possibly be investigated...

"wrap it up! nothing we can do here boys, this person was killed before we got here, if only we were right here to see it actually happen..."

<modsnip>

So everybody accused is guilty?
You do realize that some allegations are actually false, or don't you?

how did you get that out of what i wrote?

<modsnip>

did i say anything like "anyone accused is guilty"? no.

i quite specifically said, as i have many times before, that the specifics of the case should be known, that they must be known to make any comment of any substance about the situation.

sort of like when people bash DCF for making mistakes in case, like if they return a child to a home where they are further abused or even killed...

if this were ANY other case you would be saying "DCF is so incompetent, they dismissed allegations of abuse years ago and now multiple institutions have alleged further abuse and that has been held up in court many times! i would really like to see the details of that first claim of abuse and why it was dismissed!"

They must be serving more kool-aid over at the FB site. Seems much of the false information, lies, conspiracy theories and bizarre assertions are taken practically verbatim from over there. IMO
