Okies, thanks all. I have missed a lot of Desiree's interviews lately, so I was just thinking/hoping we'd figured out her occupation by now...

If it's not already there, perhaps I should put it in reporter questions thread. LOL. As if they'd ask her. But...she IS the only one of 4 parents who's occupation we don't know...and she IS becoming a national media figure & a "humanizing" face of this case for her son Kyron - good on her for that.

They had already announced that the family would be meeting with the press on Friday a few days ago.

Well, they played up the last one and it was a big letdown, so.... not going to hold my breath.
Besides, I have to take my two puppies to the vet clinic to be spayed/neutered. Dang it!

Maybe the the thread title should be changed to 'Family Press Conference' or something like that so people don't get excited/upset thinking it's a LE presser?

We've known about this family presser for 2 or 3 days now.

I refuse to get all excited about this...every other time I've sat in anticipation of some real news from these pressers and every time I've been disappointed.

I don't know....we've been duped so many times now, I hate to expect anything. The family wouldn't announce an arrest, or any developments in the case. They probably want to make another plea to those who know anything. Get some news coverage before the weekend. After that last one, I'm put off by the whole thing.

A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow at 11 a.m. We'll air it live on KATU and on KATU.com. The family is expected to speak.

Unless something has changed drastically.... It is a family press conference, LE will not be there. It is just Kyron's parents. I do not know if that includes Tony or not. Sometimes he is at the press conference's and sometimes he is not. But they had previously scheduled answering questions/media meetings on Fridays. Because he went missing on a Friday.

It was stated on Tuesday that the family would be meeting with the media on Friday. Tomorrow is Friday. I don't have a link, I believe I heard it when the PC was being introduced on Tuesday.

I don't think think we will hear too much if any new info, but if they want to call a presser and talk about thier little guy for ten minutes, Im fine, they are speaking, and they are keeping thier baby in the news JMO

I do believe it was stated on Monday before the LE presser that the family would hold a conference today.
I truly believe that the family thought that something big would happen early this week to cause need for the presser on Friday.
I also believe that LE may be tired of D, K, and Tony going into the media stating things ..and do believe that was the purpose of the presser, to show them "how" they should go about these pressers..
I don't think we will hear anything other than "I can comment on that" on Friday.
