Is the dogtag that Desiree is always wearing around her neck related to Kyron? Anyone know?

I saw Kaine differently like he was frustrated due to overwhelming feelings of helplessness and he had to fight to stay strong to get that important message out for the sake of his son. I am not wording this right, but more raw emotions than anger.

I don't know how Kaine could know that people aren't coming forward...I don't think anyone else knows what happened, besides whoever is guilty...

Maybe he's been reading here on WS alot? The other day there was post after post telling people (such as Terri's friends) that they shouldn't get involved or let LE search their homes or look at their computers.

I'm sorry and I don't want to offend anyone, but I saw many comments like that and my opinion is that a child's life takes precedence over the right to privacy. :twocents:

But I can fully understand why Kaine is mad about that! :furious:

I did hear them say in the beginning that DDS and her attorney are working with LE....Could the mention of a GJ by DDS attorney have been a ploy to make TH think there was a GJ or is that against the law? It could be a good thing if DDS is being truthful with LE.

I commend them both. Interesting that the "stashed ' theory is just that ; a theory of theirs,and not LE. Interesting too that LE does not consider TH a suspect.

I wonder if TH had an " affair " with smeone she met online. Could have been someone who was possibly much more interested in Kyron than in her ? And he followed up on that interest... I really hope LE has scoured a lot of internet dating sites...

I only got to see about the first 2 minutes (pesky clients interrupting).

I'm not convinced that TH did anything with Kyron and so happy that at least for the 2 minutes I got to watch they did not attack her. Their demeanor seemed more sympathetic to me this time around! I have always felt for them because I cannot imagine any of my children missing, but I felt like they were making things worse as far as the investigation was going by acting like LE was telling them things about the case and Terri...

I hope I am not off base, grandmaj! As always, this is MOO and probably only worth :twocents: and I will now go finish reading the thread to see what else was said. :blushing:

It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened, but it makes my blood run cold just thinking about it!

I felt like Kaine was really trying to give Terri the benefit of the doubt this time. Specially on the last sentence. Desiree said she really believes Terri is involved but Kaine reiterated - "to what capacity is what we are trying to investigate". It is his hopeful plea that maybe she didn't murder him. Maybe she just handed him to someone else. Desiree seems MUCH quicker to blame and expect the worse from Terri than Kaine is. That is completely understandable.

This may be a dumb question, but is it normal for LE to leave the victims' families so "out of the loop?" DY and KH today made it seem like they have gotten next to nothing from LE and are mainly just speaking on their own hunches, etc. I would have thought that LE would keep them informed, let them know the best course of action, etc etc....

They did not say that LE did not consider her a suspect they said that they have never heard that word in connection with TH from LE....She has not been cleared so that is all I need to know that she is a suspect.

That's funny - I had the opposite reaction to what he said! :angel:

People accuse him of being too cool and collected all the time, so I was encouraged that his deeper emotions came through to anyone watching.

That was righteous anger and maybe it will get through to someone out there who has a heart and wants to help Kyron. They need to shake people out of their complacency if they are too meek to come forward and tell what they know - which is despicable! :furious:

Who wouldn't be angry at this point? He's dealing with a bunch of slippery characters - including his estranged wife - and they still don't know what happened to Kyron.

I had the same reaction you did, ThoughtFox. I saw a father fighting for his kid - yelling at people to do the right thing. That, to me, is the most loving thing he can do right now.

I thought it was really good conf regardless of no new information. They were respectful and genuinely standing up and continuing to ask people to keep looking. My heart breaks for the both of them.

If Desiree never even considered that Terri is not responsible for whatever has befallen poor, sweet Kyron, then why did she allow Terri to raise her child?

IMHO, never even considering that someone else is responsible is tunnel vision, and right or wrong, they are making everything Terri does fit their preconceived notion.

Also right or wrong, Terri raised this child for most of his life, and if it was obvious to her that everyone suspected her, that she was not being given the benefit of the doubt, then of course she'd withdraw and be cold. That is not an abnormal reaction to this type of thing, especially if she's innocent.

They haven't been completely out of the loop. Desiree said that the police tell them things they need to know (which is why there is a restraining order against TH right now). LE doesn't however tell them day to day details of the investigation and they are letting them do their jobs. I think both Kaine and Desiree said that several times.

He was definitely upset (I'd even say pissed) at any adult who won't come forward because they don't want to get involved. That just tears him up -- he can't understand how anyone could put their own adult concerns over the welfare of an innocent, kidnapped little boy. I don't blame him!

That he was so worked up over that made me feel that there are specific instances he's aware of where that's happened and is so frustrated that they won't cooperate. I can't imagine! I'd probably go busting down some doors in his position. He and Desiree have shown remarkable constraint in not lunging at the throats of at least a few people!

The mother and father of missing Portland seven-year-old Kyron Horman are once again pleading for help to find him, and answered questions from reporters Friday morning.

Desiree Young said she had "a feeling" Kyron was "stashed" somewhere, reiterating the theory she outlined to People magazine earlier in the week.

"Eight weeks is a hard marker to hit," she said in reference to his disappearance from Skyline Elementary on June 4. "My theory is that Kyron's alive and someone's holding him. We don't know how many, we don't know who," she said. "We don't have any evidence to show that he's not (alive.) That's a big deal."
