I just listened to the discussion with Dolan. I wish they could have gone into more detail. Maybe it's just me, but his bringing up of NJ laws are completely irrelevant unless Jahi is in NJ. It's sounds like he may fight the insurance company to pay for her care. Good luck with that one Dolan.

This is the exact reason I had said what I did earlier - that my bet was that the goal was to get Jahi to a state that had laws that somehow favored Dolan's future litigation plans.

So has JM been on a road trip to NJ since she was broken out of CHO?

Maybe some confusion because it was reported that fifteen people or so celebrated Christmas at CHO but this was of course weeks after the day of the surgery?

It was said that mom and grandma took turns at some point.

OS also said the step-dad suctioned blood. He's a truck driver,IIRC, so maybe coached by grandma?

Otto was in Cabo too? :floorlaugh:

I heard that on his return he seen was in the True Crime Green Room helping himself to the goodies on the craft service table. But no salt-rimmed glasses by then.

I have a neighbor who took a nursing assistant program in HS 30+ years ago. Nurse assistants no longer exist in my province and she never practiced as one in either case but still she persists in calling herself an RN. I'm inclined (after listening to her being interviewed) that Grandma is such a 'nurse'.
Suctioning is a sanctioned act that can't be delegated to Grandmothers or truck drivers or by Grandmothers claiming to be nurses to other family members in acute care. I don't believe for a second they were suctioning Jahi with permission from or any training by an MD or licensed RN.

Re: suctioning tool

Would CHO have been able to examine the receptacle where suctioned material was collected to see if bits of solid food particles were present? TIA

Unless you know the circumstances of the trip or the family dynamic, perhaps that assumption would be pointless.
Unless just to poke fun and vilify the family further.

I really don't see what it has to do with anything.

But that's just me.

OBVIOUSLY some have not been following this case closely, right?
From early on it's been reported that Uncle O was on vacay, sending text and pictures to his family. Yep confirmed pics and text saying he'd be home to visit his niece soon. He was on vacay the day of Surgery.

SO IMHOO let's not jump on regular case followers that know exactly what's going on.

Incidentally, I looked at the uncle's instagram* about Cabo. He noted it was his last day there. One friend said your niece is having surgery today. He commented I'll go to see her when I get back. I think he is just a pushy guy who is trying to get his face out front of something. He is rather good-looking- looks like an actor named Michael B. Jordan.

Glad to hear! Thanks kaRN!

ETA: How would CHO know/prove who the suctioned material came from? TIA

I really hope someone has that screenshotted, I assume it's been deleted by now?

Well I was told when I was a little tot that I use to get anywhere from 101 to 104 fevers. They told my parents if they removed my adenoids and tonsils it would probably help the fevers, which it did. However what they didn't say is that my immune system would weaken and I could become susceptible to pneumonia and pleurisy, and I did. Which I would rather have 15 babies naturally than have pleurisy. It hurts. So now I'm wondering if my parents would have just waited and see if the fevers got better as I got older and not be subjected to these awful lung problems. I am also steroid dependent, which is one of the worst drugs out there IMO. Now I read the risk my parents took letting me get an operation so young I could have been that little girl on life support.
