KY Father reunited with kidnapped daughter after 42 years

In 1983, a family with a 3-year-old daughter were preparing to move, and the wife took the daughter and left ahead of her husband, and just disappeared. Apparently, the daughter did not know anything about this, until authorites showed up and told her that she had not been using her real name or identity for 42 years. Because kidnapping has no statute of limitations in this area, the mother is going to be charged.

A mother accused in a decades-old abduction case is facing new charges, and the child at the center of the case, missing since 1983, has finally been found.

Within the past half hour or so, I heard on NBC News that the mother was located and charges filed. The daughter also said, through a spokesperson, that she had more information but did not wish to release it to the public at this time.
