We don't have the email from LG to Cindy where he asks about the brush. I think that's very relevant in determining Cindy's motivation in choosing to give them one brush over the other.
I have to think that if the FBI is looking into this, there must be some relevance to the "act".

OK all you legal eagles! What are the degrees of obstruction that could let off a greiving grandmother. I didn't understand why the reporter would say this. Isn't obstuction just that no matter how it is portrayed?

[humor alert] Hey, the lie detector would explode because it cannot cope with so many lies at one time. Don't we need a truth detector? -- so it alarms only when the truth is told :crazy::crazy:

I'm afraid that the silence would be deafening if that were the case. :furious:

That could be too. If Cindy gave them a brush that was found to have none of Caylee's hairs in it she may have then given them the other one. Maybe that's what prompted this discussion between Cindy and Garrison. It still doesn't show evil intent on Cindy's part.

maybe she picked all the small hair out of that brush and only left KC's
and LE got a warrant and another brush after that
maybe

Where does this information about the Anthony's cleaning the car or washing anything other than the pants and knife come from? Am I the only person who is unaware of this?

IIRC, I read that the neighbors stated they saw them washing the car. But I cant find the link now, going back and forth from the computer and preping for thanksgiving but I will look on and off for you. :)

We'll have to agree to disagree on Cindy's intent. Maybe someone should start a poll.

Didn't they take hair samples from Casey the first or second time she was in jail? I don't have a link, but I am pretty sure they did.

Didn't LE get the brush from Cindy almost immediately after Caylee was reported missing, long before there was any knowledge of a hair with signs of decomp being found in the trunk?
So now why wouldn't she give them the one that was Caylee's...and Caylee's alone? The issue at that point in time was finding her missing granddaughter.

I believe CA thinks she is head of the investigation and everyone is to play by her rules!
Also, when she was being interviewed by FBI, what was she doing with pen and paper while she was giving answers? Was she writing down her replies or doodling? And what was up with playing footsies with her own shoes?
I don't know if some posters are just trying to play devil's advocate here, or if they actually believe that Cindy's behaviors (washing the pants and knife, not giving LE credit card statements, giving LE a hairbrush not solely used by Caylee, although there is one, etc.) aren't inappropriate and can't be viewed as interfering with the investigation. :waitasec:

I'm thinking the reporter had a lapse of memory and forgot the Anthony's are anything but the typical grieving family.

Maybe not, but she sure is a royal pain in the a**...too bad there isn't a law against that! LOL

I am so angry right now. For Caylee, on her behalf. She deserves so much more.

IF CA has obstructed an investigation and they do not charge her I think I will explode. I disagree that this is not a big deal. It shows CA's morality, her make up, her nature. She KNEW LE wanted a hair brush that Caylee specifically used, but what did she give them? She gave them one that KC and Caylee used, telling herself that technically she is giving them what they asked for. That is NOT a grandmother who is looking for truth and justice for her murdered grandbaby.

FOR ME THIS IS A HUGH BLINKING NEON SIGN REGARDING CA'S CAPACITY TO COOPERATE WITH LE AND WHAT KIND OF SPIRIT EMBODIES HER. LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER. JMO

I totally agree.

she was scratching her rear end and rubbing her feet (seduction of fbi):blowkiss:

In all the confusion she may not have even thought about it. They wanted a brush with Caylee's hair and she gave them the first one she grabbed. I really don't see it as a big deal.

JMO, if a grandmother were honestly grieving I would think she'd want to hand over anything and everything to help in an investigation.
