Article about a resident (owner) with structural engineering background who died in the collapse. If he wasn’t worried about living there, the risk of a catastrophe understandably must not have been on most residents minds. We read the reports now with an entirely different perspective, of course.

I hope Mr. Segal wasn't used as a sounding board for input when this report was released to the condo owners. His estate could be open to lawsuits by surviving condo owners and those who lost family. IMO
