There was an article about the lawsuit his mom won against the doctor and/or hospital that had something to do with his dad’s death, and the outcome was that she won. The article stated the award was to be placed into a trust fund for the two sons. The attorney involved said he didn’t remember the specifics but that he must have been really concerned about how the money would be handled if he made that recommendation.

So, my question is....what happened to that trust fund?

The amount in the trust fund that she won wasn't very large. So I don't think anything in particular happened to the trust fund, that's what was left divided between ZC and NC.

This is so bizarre yet intriguing...

Almost everybody here was screaming how unfairly he was treated after he was arrested for trespassing.

According to an arrest warrant issued Tuesday, Cruz, 18, violated his probation April 28 by operating a Kia SUV without a driver's license and being close to a school where he was not enrolled.

The warrant said he was about 25 feet from the west parking lot of Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida.

Well, that didn't last long. I am not surprised at the least. I guess that ankle bracelet didn't do any good.

This is so bizarre yet intriguing. This kid is essentially proving how useless the criminal court system can be sometimes. If he had chosen to enter that school (the one he was parked by) with a gun and shoot it up, he would have been able to do it, and then everyone would be screaming about how something should have been done.

ZC is clearly used to testing every rule and boundary set for him and used to getting away with anything.

Exactly, both of them (ZC&NC) have gotten away with everything their whole life it seems. And with life in prison that NC wants he gets away with murder.

of course not. He could have run into the school with a gun and shot it up before cops would even know his ankle bracelet was broken/removed.
His brother did a lot of damage in just 6 minutes.

What's his excuse for returning to school over and over again?

Sounds like ZC is following in his brother's footsteps.

Doesn't he have a job or go to school?

Unless he has a valid excuse sounds like he doesn't like being told no, and follow the law.

...

From what has been reported, he doesn't go to school or have a job. But apparently he knows how to drive, even though he doesn't have a valid driver's license.

Has ZC's present caretakers considered boot camp for him?

Has ZC's present caretakers considered boot camp for him?

He's 18 not sure they can force him to do anything at this point but now the law can step in.

So, what would you have her do? Toss him out onto the street? I feel a bit sorry for this boy, He is being punished for something his brother did.

His brother didn't drive without a license, so you really can't blame his brother for that one. As for tossing him out, she doesn't have an obligation to keep him in her house. He is an adult, and he isn't related to her.

I feel he needs intensive therapy. Being tough on someone does not fix their issues.

Parkland's seniors celebrate prom, but four are missing
Many Stoneman Douglas students were hesitant to attend prom after the shooting. But the senior class grew determined to keep the tradition intact.

PARKLAND, Fla. — Sunshine poured through vaulted windows at the MiraLago at Parkland clubhouse, where 17-year-old Anisha Saripalli sat with her eyes closed as a makeup artist pressed strips of false lashes against her glitter-dusted eyelids.

As Vance Joy’s “Riptide” played on a loudspeaker, dozens of volunteers teased hair and applied blush to more than 150 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students Saturday afternoon, hours ahead of their senior prom...

Broward school district admits Nikolas Cruz was referred to PROMISE program in ‘stunning’ reversal

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/may/7/broward-school-district-admits-nikolas-cruz-was-re/

Launched in 2013, PROMISE was at the forefront of a national movement that culminated in the Obama administration’s 2014 directive on school discipline, which threatened school districts with civil-rights investigations unless they reduced racial disparities in school discipline.
