I think I already said several times I did listen to her interview. I know she says the fight took place 3 to 4 houses down.

Personally I can wait till the FBI anaylizes the tapes. I have seen quotes by the father saying the screams were not Trayvon's, as well as quotes from the mother that says they are. Anyone have an idea how long it takes to anaylize the tapes?

I've seen quotes by the father saying that the police quoting him about this matter are incorrect.

Isn't what is out there in the media regarding this issue is that the SPD is quoting the father as saying the voice screaming for help is not Trayvon and then there are subsequent quotes by the father saying that SPD is not telling the whole story.That at first he said no but then upon the tape(s) being cleared up so he could hear better, that he said the voice was his son and that SPD knew this.

I believe this has already been posted and cleared up in this thread as to what the father has actually said regarding this issue.

ETA: Police also said that Trayvon's father, Tracy Martin, told them the voice pleading for help was not Trayvon. I've had both cheap and expensive phones. None of them have recorded incoming calls in the phone call log if the phone was not turned on.

I have posted a link upthread that shows this not to be possible.

People have posted that they've tested it on their own phones and it is not done.

A phone does not ring if it is not turned on. If a phone does not ring, how can it possibly record an incoming missed call? It can't as far as I know. If it can, that gives smartphone a whole new meaning.

Yes, I see. There is much contradictory information out there.

However, the interview is from the eyewitness's own mouth and the other sources are secondhand.

That doesn't mean they are inaccurate, and I am well aware of how unreliable eyewitness testimony can be, but this woman seems very sure of what she saw and did or did not hear.

IMO I would believe the callers on the 911 tapes before anyone in an article. I listened to the 911 tapes and these people did not know what color the men were but some did see wrestling and some did see a man with red on the ground and a white shirt on top of him.IMO They were telling the truth at that time.

Wrestling and rolling around might have continued the 3 or 4 houses away.These are not mansions they are condo.IMO They were rolling around fighting till it ended up by Marys.IMO They were fighting over the gun.

No. It is not even on the call Zimmerman made to LE. Nothing about him ducking under an awning, etc... That is why I want to see the original statement/interview of Zimmerman the night of the shooting. Once we get the original statement/interview (which is always supposed to be recorded now) then we can go and look at other statements/interviews he has given and see if he had changed his story.

Until we see what Zimmerman had to say, in his own words, we don't know what Zimmerman claims? I wish we knew? I wish we had more of a statement from his lawyer other than he possibly has a broken nose and he would have needed stitches from his serious cut to the head if it didn't heal on it's own?

In his own words, according to his girlfriend. Because this man (Zimmerman) was watching him, not because it was raining, not to keep his phone or earbuds dry, but because he was being watched. Sounds llike a suspicious action to me.

there are no such "quotes" from the father. If there are please link. These are quotes from the father. This mistruth keeps getting repeated and is pretty horrible since we're talking about the father of the murdered boy.

That doesn't say he was trying to hide his face from GZ. To assume that is what she meant is an opinion of interpreting what she meant. She doesn't say Trayvon told her he was hiding his face nor do we see GZ being quoted as saying he felt like or thought Trayvon was trying to hide his face.

That article is also not giving a quote directly from the girlfriend.

I'm still wondering where the factual basis is for all the posts saying Trayvon was using his hoodie to purposely hide his face.

Yes Mothers usually can tell their child's voice or cries but the voice we heard was more of a wailing sound then an actual voice.IMO That kind of scream distorts the actual voice and I am not sure if anyone really knows who s voice it is.Since their son was the one dead they might just perceive it to be his. I am not trying to disrespect his parents but until voice analysis is done IMO only way to really know who was screaming.

Someone obvious was fearful they were going to be shot. Mary said when they looked out after the shot rang out GZ was on top of TM and TM was face down. When they rolled TM over his hands were together. There was nothing in his hands she said. TM had ice tea in his pocket that was still there along with the candy. I doubt if they rolled and no one saw them rolling. Plus if TM rolled he too would have had grass on his back and they only reported GZ as having the back of his shirt wet and grass on it.

This is why they needed a good homocide detective before they made any decision. jmo

I wish they would hurry and release the written statement and recorded interview with Zimmerman the night of the shooting. Where are the Sunshine Laws? On the taped interview, we should be able to see his clothes and injuries too.

discrepancies in GZ are directly relevant to the homicide he was involved in. What Trayvons father, who was completely uninvolved in any of this, said or didn't say or what messages were exchanged with him about movies or candy or whatever are completely irrelevant to what happened. Everything about Zimmerman is relevant as he was involved.

Its absolutely not relevant to Martin's death. I posted it just to show there are discrepencies in reports on both the Zimmerman point of view and the Martin point of view in the media and reports we have seen so far.

But on 911 call, loud screams are heard (for a period of time) right up until the loud shot.
