Unless his truck was parked on a sidewalk between 2 rows of houses, he followed him.
But where was he when the dispatcher mentioned they didn't need him to follow Trayvon?

I'm not sure you realize how demeaning your comment might be to the victim of a violent attack. I'm sorry, but I just don't understand the purpose or need to mock a physical assault. A young man died. It's neither funny or entertaining.
You're very welcome.Thank you Horace.
His truck was by the mailboxes near the Clubhouse no where near where TM's body was found. GZ seemed to understand what the dispatcher was asking because he said okay. jmo
Not true. If they don't believe his account, they can arrest and charge him, which is exactly what the lead homicide guy wanted to do until he was overruled by the Chief of Police and the state attorney (who drove 50 miles for an unprecedented face-to-face meeting), both of whom have since 'stepped-aside'.
I have a 17 year old son too I agreeTHANK YOU FOR THIS POST. NO WAY! I have a 'white' 17-year old and no matter what, I would never feel safe with someone like GZ in my neighborhood. I absolutely hate the white-black thing. It makes me sick. Kids are kids. Teenagers are teenagers. No matter the color.
But where was he when the dispatcher mentioned they didn't need him to follow Trayvon?
More than that, it's constantly repeated here that GZ killed TM because he was walking home while black, because he didn't want him in his neighborhood, because he had skittles and iced tea, simply because he was black, he didn't want him to get away... Utterly baseless nonsense.
Basically without this law you could easily be victimized twice, once by the "prep" and again by the justice system.
Do we know where George's truck was when he got out of the car? I think that would help? Did he get out of the car by the clubhouse or was he following Trayvon in his car first?
It's actually been repeated multiple times, or at least heavily insinuated. I was tempted to post something about it last night, but decided to bite my tongue. To state that anyone here is claiming TM was killed BECAUSE he had Skittles and iced tea is really disingenuous.

To me its a non issue if he was already out of his truck or then proceeded to get out after being told it wasnt needed for him to follow.
Based on the article linked a couple pages back, the police depts volunteer coordinator who visited the retreat and assisted in getting the neighborhood watch started clearly states that she told the residents (including GZ who was there and volunteered to be captain) that you don't patrol, you don't confront, engage etc and you sure dont carry a gun.
GZ did not need dispatch to "remind" him IMO he already knew and did it anyway.
moo IMO etc etc ad infinutum.
BBM, I never said that GZ was mentally unstable. I would just like to know if he was ever over emotional, had any odd ways of vigilante, any problems like that.
Personally I went to school with a man that shot a dear little boy to death.......thought the boy was a groundhog (from a porch)........YES, this man had always been a little off but never in trouble.......quick to show off. shoot first, look later......
All I wanted to know is GZ on of these type of individuals.
Also GZ brother hasn't seen him in YEARS yet said (hearsay) GZ was in a near death state.............
Of course would rally for my loved one nd want to know exactly what happened........but on national news........NOT........lawyers do that.
It is hearsay, they were not there and can't state anything as truth........JMOO
That is not my understanding. IMO - The State Attorney rightly advised them (police) not to arrest because at the time they didn't have evidence a crime had been committed vis a vis the Stand Your Ground Law.
To state that anyone here is claiming TM was killed BECAUSE he had Skittles and iced tea is really disingenuous.
"escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions"
Civil disobedience is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands, and commands of a government, or of an occupying international power.
It is nice that the Reverend put the word 'peaceful' in the middle of those words, but an escalation of civil disobedience means just what it says. A higher level of the refusal to obey certain laws.
How does a large angry crowd escalate peacefully? And how do they refuse to obey certain laws peacefully?
There are going to be some violent incidents, imo. Sharpton has said that the government has to arrest GZ NOW OR ELSE he unleashes the protestors, and asks them to escalate their civil disobedience, but 'peacefully.' Those words do not go together in a highly emotional situation like this, imo.
