I'm sure they will. Especially if they are able to recover some of his money. Usually, this is how it's done. A headstone can take 4 to 6 weeks to get done. They almost always, to my knowledge, mark it with the temporary marker like in the photo, then, in a few weeks, the headstone will be placed.

Susan, did you take those photos yourself, or get them from someone? (If I may ask??)

An interesting point (today is the first day I've had to read through it) I found........

If I remember correctly, we had a discrepancy with the dates that DM supposedly met AS. It was stated that she met him through Barbara Jackson in like October of 2008, right? (Correct me if I'm wrong, please) Well, in that timeline on TBO, it indicates Feb 2007 is when DM approached AS about writing the book on him. I wonder where they got that info from? Is there anywhere in the Criminal Affidavit that states when she met him? Just curious here.......

My daughter and I went out this afternoon. She has a digital camera. She took a few, I took a few (she is teaching me how to use the thing. If it is mechanical, I need help!). It was a cool, but beautiful day so a perfect day for a Sunday drive and picture taking. If you go to the cemetery, it is all the way toward the back. If you go to the very back driving lane and drive till you see a motorcycle stone, it is on that road going back up to the front, a short distance after that motorcycle stone.

We've been very fortunate here on Websleuths to have some folks who are in the local area to share photos. I remember when "ibminnesota" posted those photos of the houses at 5732 and 5802 State Rd back in December 2009. I don't know who took those photos but I sure thank them for that. That's back when we were first clued in that Shar, Stitzel and Dee Dee were connected to those properties. It was so weird a month later to suddenly hear about those search warrants and the digging on the same property addresses we viewed in those photos a month earlier.

I, for one appreciate all that everybody has done in the past and is still doing to help sleuth out information on this case because some of the smallest tidbits can help connect the dots. I pray for justice for Abraham Shakespeare, his mother, children, their mothers and his friends.

I moved to Lakeland from upstate New York and I love Florida. I live in Lakeland (Polk County) and work in Tampa. I've actually lived all over the country from Los Angeles, CA to Maine to the deep south in Savannah, GA to TX, WV, Phoenix, AZ, and Louisianna. And that is the short list. I was born in MA. Though the dialects and the accents and some of the food have changed, people have been pretty much the same wherever I have gone, for the most part, a mixture. There's always some nice people, there's always some not so nice people. There's always well educated and illiterate and lots who fall in the middle. There's always some criminals. Every state seems to have their own Dorice Moore or Casey Anthony. Looking at websleuths threads, it doesn't seem as if any state is immune to violence and preditors. There are usually people asking for money or cigarettes at the exit ramps or downtown areas in every state, the larger the city, the more I see this. I've found no matter where I go there will always be some people I like, and some people I like to avoid. But the weather here is great. I don't have to shovel snow. It is as tigergal says here in Lakeland, people for the most part are pretty friendly, will say hello or smile or wave as you drive by their neighborhood even if they don't know you. And the more friendly I feel, the more friendly I find other people are. I found you often get what you give.
I find Florida interesting because what I have found is it is hard to find many people born and raised here. I'm thinking they may be in the minority. I have met people who have moved here from all over the country. And the snow bird population and winter break groups and tourists increase that mixture.
But I do love Florida and I do love the mixture of people I have found here.

I hear you, Wantohelp. Honestly, I haven't lived anywhere else and I have a lot of pride in my state and my area.

Pretty rare I meet natives except when I'm in smaller towns, the younger natives can't wait to go off and get away. Fl is pretty transient and seems like some bad element is attracted to this state, not to mention down-and-out kids of all ages who follow retired parents here. We rival Germany for wierd news and strange crimes... Lol Loveline (a radio show had a skit based on it)

we have so much corruption and demands for tough-on-crime laws which a lot of time ignores white collar crime too often. Once again, it's often in the news about Medicaid fraud which I suspect with DM and a few friends. HDS and crooked attorneys are up to thier ears with proprty scams and crimes. These crimes effect my nieghbors and my state, so I take notice.

But the state gets a bad rep and at the same time I can relate to transplants thinking this state is wierd. That keeps it interesting to someone like me.. Besides, at one time my family were transplants too.

sorry bout the OT y'all. The fl vs anywhere else debate is familiar to me and I jump in a lot. lol

Thanks ACR! I knew of these two times, and I thought that LE had made mention of a "receipt of purchase of a backhoe" when they executed the search warrant at the Redhawk house (maybe not).
Might not mean much, but in one of the many things I have heard in the last few days was, that PP WAS at the 5732 Hwy 60 address during the time that that backhoe was there, also told to me was that PP,s other son (the first one that she tried to get DDM with) was also there messing around on the backhoe. So I was trying to put a time frame on how long that backhoe was there from April 3. And I also found it interesting that PP had made that statement to guitarman_fl in reference to DDM "putting him in the digging machine and dumping him". Especially now hearing that PP was around the property the same time the backhoe was. Which also brought me to another question as to why didn't PP go to LE when this all came about in November? PP knew DDM was being questioned about AS and the missing persons case, again, as I before said IMO about JM not saying anything about the hole early on, just wonder IMO why PP didn't either. Just babbling, sorry all! Like I said, alot of things have came up recently, that I am trying to sort out.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I enjoy your posts and I am glad you are here and contributing. I hope that if anyone tries to glue your fingers or tries to get you to stop posting you will post twice as much because the only ones I could see who would want you to quit are those with something to hide. Then I want to know what it is they are hiding and why if it pertains to this case. You have some interesting insider reflections, a unique viewpoint, that those of us who are outside the inner circle do not have and I appreciate your insights.
There are a lot of skeletons in closets that need the light of day and some dusting off. If they are ashamed now of what they have done, if they don't want their actions brought out for the public to view, guess they shouldn't have done it. And they are all welcome to come here and speak for themselves as long as they get verified by Trisha, the site owner, so we know it really is them we are conversing with. I would love to hear what all the parties have to say.
I would particularly like to hear from Howard Stitzel. He comes up looking very bad in this whole situation. His lawyer keeps telling the press he is cooperating with the police. Right. He has attempted to twart the police in their missing person's investigation by telling the detectives he spoke with Abraham in October 2009, 6 months after Abraham is murdered. He has "represented" both Dorice Moore and Abraham and then prepared documents involving both parties. How can he effectively represent both parties when he has been counsel to both? His attorney said his only contact with Dorice was she was his landlord when he had transferred all Abraham's property to her, borrowed money from her, and represented her in her divorce in 2009. I'm not sure I'd believe any more of what he had to say than I did of what Dmoore was saying when she posted here, but I sure would like to hear him attempt to explain his actions to us. He could try using us as a mock jury in preparation for when he has to face a real one.

My reasoning behind the backhoe questions is, I am trying to put together time/dates/occurences with people and stories, I myself, have heard so many lies/stories, not just of DDM. But others, and I don't know what happened to guitarman_fl, but IMO he too, as I do, feel that someone else that was in very close contact with DDM, KNOWS alot more than they have disclosed.
And when I heard yesterday that that backhoe is supposedly sold and in Africa now. It was just another one of those things that makes a person think "hmm".

Today, there was a white Cadillac at 5732 Hwy 60. Is someone living there now?

Also, a semi truck rig was there. No trailer, but the tractor part. Not sure if it was there before, but I DO NOT remember seeing it prior!

So, none of the people you have spoken with, have given you any solid information about knowledge of what actually happened? is LE aware of anyone else involved in the actual killing/burial? In my personal opinion, I totally agree that there are others who had knowledge, and or helped in one way or another, in the death of Shakespeare.

Now whether Dee Dee could have pulled this off by herself regarding putting Abraham's body into the backhoe digger (or whatever it's called) and then driving it over to the hole, and then dumping it, I would first have to question whether the Case Backhoe she purchased was an automatic or standard transmission (ie: stick shift).

I know zero about the "Case Backhoe", or any Backhoes for that matter, but knowing how they are used, their purpose, I would be very surprised if they were not all "standard transmisions." So the question would be, did Dee Dee know how to drive that Case Backhoe (and especially *IF* it had a stick shift) to drive it that short sprint from 5732 to 5802 State Rd across the back of the properties?

When our adrenline is high (and hers would have been high that day) we are capable of doing things we wouldn't normally be able to do otherwise.
