GUILTY FL - AMBER ALERT: Diana Alvares, 9, Fort Myers, 29 May 2016 #2

Florida is having it's first tropical storm of the season and the ones that form this early in the season are usually really nasty.

If Diana is still here I hope she is safe and dry. If she is no longer with us, I hate to say this, but, her remains will be exposed to the elements if he dumped her. And we all know what happened with Caylee. How evidence was lost because of the rains and the time it took to find her.

I am also hoping Diana is still with us. Safe and dry.

I remember VERY clearly when Tropical Storm Faye came in. If I am not mistaken... she hit us 4 times... back and forth. A lot of rain!! Luckily, this storm is moving very fast. A lot rain, but nothing close to Faye. Unfortunately, one thing I did learn from Caylee's case was how FAST the heat could destroy evidence... IF she is no longer with us. I really HATE talking about this, but if I remember correctly, they said it would take all of ten days for a body to be completely decomposed in the Florida summer heat. Our summer started VERY early this year.

I am confused about the "Collier County" references? Were the cars stolen from Collier County and recovered in Lee County... or were the cars stolen in Lee County and recovered in Collier County?

As for the "Missing" reports. We do get a lot of Silver Alerts here. Which means that an elderly person is missing and they are usually found. I do think our Homicide rates are up significantly so I have no dispute with the "death investigations."

Oops, I was looking at the map, and moved it from just Lee County. I did expand it to 14 days instead of 7 and saw the time Diana was reported missing to LE. 7:30 something last Sunday. I think it was 7:34, but not positive and now too sleepy to look it up.

I wish we could do something to help find Diana. I just am helpless in the case.

That picture was circulating un-official pages since the day they released the Amber Alert. I think he has another social media account that we didn't see yet. Actually, this was the picture I saw BEFORE I saw the Amber Alert picture.

Question--- if one county is holding you and then releases you to another county, does the time start over? The 72 hours? I know it happens a lot in New Orleans that a person is sent to one parish and then just when he thinks he is getting out, he is transported to another parish to handle business there. But, I don't know about if there is not a warrant already.

I just read an update and it said the storm is gathering strength so I pray everyone in its path doesn't have a lot of flooding. The water kills way more than the storm itself because people still will go on roads that have water over the top of it.

We are already experiencing the rains from it here in Southwest Georgia but we sure needed the rain badly. Our local weather man is advising us that it may whip up some tornadoes in our area. I am terrified of bad weather especially the high winds and tornadoes.

So please be safe everyone.

Yes, sadly you are right. Heat is the main destroyer of a human body and its been so hot already in Georgia and Florida. Some days we have peaked out at 99 and its only the first of June. Water also speeds up the process.

He could be fighting being brought back to Lee County. Maybe that is why he will be in court in Lee County today instead of yesterday. He may fight it as that is his legal right but the Judge is going to nix it and he will be brought back.

Hopefully by now he is on his way to the Lee County jail. The LCSD would be the one to go get him and bring him back.

They probably think something bad has happened to Diana but don't want to say it publicly and of course her family wants to believe she is being kept alive somewhere which is totally understandable.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is confirming for our media partners that Jorge Guerrero, the person of interest in the Diana Alvarez Amber Alert, has been transferred to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Jail. Guerrero hasn’t completed the booking process yet and so his photo and first appearance information are not yet available. When we are able, we will provide that information via another update.

I know what the odds tend to say about Diana's fate but I really want to hold out hope that she is alive somewhere, hidden but safe/uninjured.
