This case is so confusing, am I watching the right video, from 5 hours ago?

The banner says 'arrested' but the reporter says 'detained' And JG is expected to be in court tomorrow morning? A Sunday? For what? Has he been charged with something LE isn't saying? LE are so tight lipped I'm beginning to think JG is not involved OR is a middle man, and Diana may just be safe somewhere!!

In the US, they can't hold you for more than a limited amount of time without bringing you before a judge and saying what you're charged with. They probably have a judge who comes in on Sunday to deal with the Friday night and Saturday arrests.

I am going to tell something personal. I am a victim of grooming and molestation. I was very much a human to him, but yet, had it come to that yes he would have killed me and himself. Let's just say i figured out what was happening to me in time. I was 5 years older than little Diana though. Of course this is just my experience and opinion...and after what i went through I truly did distance myself from the entire subject of how sexual predators work...

In some jurisdictions the Judge does hold court on Saturday and Sunday. This way some who can be granted bail doesn't have to spend the entire weekend in jail. I imagine the Judge presided over some other cases early this morning as well. It keeps the jails from being so congested.

He would not be going before the Court if he wasn't charged with anything. Imo, they have arrested him and they have charged him with some type of crime. Now it may be a lower offense so that they will be able to hold him while they continue to investigate and look for Diana. LE seems to be using that tactic quite often lately.

Hopefully whatever he is charged with he does not get out on bail :/

When I was a CO, it was 2 court days. But weekends don't count so if you were arrested fridaynight, they had until Tuesday.

In Florida, many counties do 1st appearance on weekends also.

In the US, in most if not all LE jurisdictions, anyone arrested and held in jail must be seen by a judge within 48 hours to either be held longer or released on some type of bail, bond, or 'own recognizance.'

He may not even have taken Diana there. May have been somewhere else first.

I think it's possible Diana was in the car and Jorge ran back in and turned the burners on. He had who he wanted so if parents woke up he would just run out and take off. Pedos can be pretty brazen.

Does every border crossing have cameras or only just more well used ones? I crossed though a chain link gate in a little town in south Texas before you needed a passport. Not sure how much has changed since then. There were no guards or anything visible.

The only report was that one newspaper article that was inaccurate in a number of other respects, so it's probably another case of bad reporting. Nobody else has mentioned it.

Her parents believe that JG took her to Arizona. They both break my heart when I see either one of them. They say he isn't talking.
