I just returned from a motorcycle trip with my husband and 10 other bikes. We rode from South Georgia to Key West, Florida. The first night of our trip we stayed in Okeechobee (last Thursday) Before we arrived I told everyone I bet we will see searches all over and flyers marking all the stores, light poles, etc. and maybe some national media. Nothing...crickets. It made be so sad. On Friday as we rode the 441 from Okeechobee to Yeehaw Junction, I thought for sure we would see some searches or activity of some kind. Again, nothing. Really broke my heart that there was not some activity going on looking for this child. I questioned, why? However, I am afraid I know. <modsnip>

I was rewatching interviews again last night & when I saw DA's bed this time, I literally paused everything when the camera panned over to her bed.. with no sheets.

she took her "green blanket she was covered with". did she ever have sheets?

lots of horrible things went through my mind, I had to stop watching; but the most prominent was that the bedding was evidence

It would be standard procedure for LE to collect the sheets to look for possible trace evidence in a case like this.

Fort Myers, Florida – United States Attorney A. Lee Bentley, III announces the return of an indictment charging Jorge Guerrero-Torres (28, Orlando) with possession of child and production of child . If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison on the possession charge, and minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years, up to 30 years, in federal prison on the production charge. Guerrero-Torres was arrested and made his initial appearance in federal court on June 6, 2016, in Fort Myers. He remains detained pending further proceedings

This case was investigated the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It will be prosecuted by Chief Assistant United States Attorney Jesus M. Casas and Assistant United States Attorney Charles Schmitz.

That is a really strange question! Could LE have wanted to search for any active warrants out for JG to look for a reason to arrest him? Would they need an exact birth date to make sure they had the right Jorge? I seem to recall from an earlier thread we found had a mugshot of a JG that did not quite match his other photos. Maybe LE had the same issue in the very first day, not knowing which JG was the one they were after--thoughts?

I don't know about anyone else but I am pissed off that there are no searches going on. It hasn't even been a month yet and LE have pretty much already given up on finding this child. I mean it's just sad.

If anyone can find Diana, it would be TES right now. Now that all agencies have already been out there with proper protocol and done what they've needed to do to the best of their abilities and resources and have now phased down...if Diana is out there, if anyone can find her, Tim Miller and his team can.

Bluesneakers, "someone very bad"? this worries me...I think she's deceased but this possibility nags at me...

Re: the car accident, of course it was mentioned but to hear it was "confirmed"...whoever bailed him out that night possibly knows something, whether they know it or not. I saw a case on ID of a perp who got stuck in the mud after the disposal, called someone to get him...

Eta: Upon further thought, they would have to know something was up (whoever rescued him) due to LE's questioning, etc.

Unless they were in on it too. Or surely helping COVERING UP. (Yeah it sucks to turn in family, but ARS's mom turned him in...)

Unfortunately, I believe here in America we are so worried about someone's "freedom" that we will keep seeing our children getting victimized. You'll have to forgive me if I call shenanigans on this "family attorney". He keeps claiming stranger and stranger things every day. I think he's gone to the Gloria Allred school of law, taking the case of people who don't really need a lawyer just to raise his own profile and get himself press. I think he's making crazy claims against LE because he knows they cannot debate anything, no matter if it's complete cowturd or not. JMVHO.
