Could be. It just seemed to me that when she said that, she was talking in terms of what happened the night before. She said she had to wash Haleigh's blanket and use the blanket off of the window because her blanket wasn't there, it was in the van that "they" took, "they" possibly being Ronald and a work friend??

The father or girlfriend being upset over bedwetting was my first thought when I heard the girlfriend talking about blanket washing.

If she put a sheet over Haleigh while her blanket was washing, what was the purpose of taking the blanket off the window to start with? Not for herself, obviously if she was going to wait for Haleigh's covers to wash and dry, she would have waited for her own to wash and dry too..

SATSUMA - Ronald Cummings Jr. will turn 4 years old Sunday, a birthday his family isn't sure they'll remind him about.
Valentine's Day may not mean much to a tyke like him, but today's holiday arrived early Friday morning with someone from his sister's school dropping off candy and gifts from her classmates.
"We love you Haleigh," said a card all her kindergarten classmates signed.
But how do you explain to a little boy why his 5-year-old sister wasn't home to get the gifts? How do you tell him that police suspect someone abducted Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings while the siblings were supposed to be snug in bed?
"When he's here by himself, he's a little bit lonely," his paternal grandmother, Teresa Neves, said Friday of the little boy their family calls "Junior."
"We just tell him that Haleigh's not here right now. We're not going to do doom and gloom."

classes, children removed from home and on Feb. 9th 2009 there is a
CONTEMPT OF COURT filed. So Feb. 10th on the heals of the "contempt of
court" the daughter is missing. Could this be a coincidence?

You need to read it carefully. Some of that applies to the bio mom. It is possible Bio mom didn't pay her court ordered child support of $325.00 and it looks like the contempt charge is on her. Their custody got nasty and most of those appear possibly to be trumped up charges against him, imo.

There was a serial rapist in Tulsa that broke into homes with the parents asleep and raped their daughters right outside their window in some cases. He wasn't selective. He also raped women. His youngest victim was 2 years old. The parents of on slept through it and were unaware until the child woke them after being returned to her bed. He got away with this for 4 years until he was finally caught.

Remember Tulsa's Southside Stalker around 1979 or so? He lived about 1/2 block from me...as the crow flies. We came home late one night and wondered why a strange man was sitting in a car by our street...found out later they were watching him. A few threads back (I can't stay on all day right now, and I can't read through ALL this but have been checking in frequently) a wise sleuther pointed out that it appears that MC may have FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome). I agree wholeheartedly! As a special needs preschool teacher I can see it. I can see it in her facial structure and as the op pointed out the lazy eye. Also the underdeveloped jaw and smooth philtrum (without that normal indentation we have between our nose and upper lip), low IQ and learning disabilities are all a part of the spectrum of fetal alcohol syndrome.
Look at her mom. I'm not passing judgment for whatever happened in MC's childhood, but clearly MC lacks the skills to talk to the media and LE in any way that is believable and credible. She simply can't, it's beyond her scope of capability.

How much more time was an intruder in the house to see the other 1 or 2 bedrooms were empty?

If there was an intruder he wasn't good at reclosing doors or turning off lights.

Would he have reclosed the door of Haleigh's usual bedroom after he looked?

Are you serious ? I went to the link but am having trouble finding it...I put in first and last name for the Official Records and Criminal Records. This is unbelievable, how did this not come out before or have I just missed this ?

So we've gotten two things out of tonight's sleuthing: We need to shoot GPS trackers into all SO's with 9mm's, and it is imperative that we ban pronouns before our heads explode.

I can see at first glance why it would seem that way, but it has never been mentioned anyone rode with him to work. In her way of speaking, she was trying to clarify which blanket and to say it was the one "they" meaning LE took...explained it.

I am still going to stay put, right here on this dog-ear fence.....just too many conflicting stories and coming immediately on the heels of Caylee, my brain is fried and my heart is still aching.
Thinking this might be the workings of a Dad, a BioMom or a Girlfriend just saddens more.
I'll just stay on this fence in my protective mode.

Except-in the police report, he asks her why she is awake, so, she doesn't usually wake up when he comes home or there wouldn't have been a reason to ask that.

I think it is plausible sound woke Haleigh up and she could have turned the light on and opened the door thinking it was her dad, all except for the back door being open.

And WHY did they need the a/c fixed this time of year?
Did the landlord call the a/c guy to come fix it? and why did he do that as they had lived there for a few months, so they weren't new tenants, and it isn't hot enough yet for a/c?

Well mobile homes do heat up more than a regular house would. this winter I've had to run the ac a few times because it got up to the upper 70s and it was really hot inside my trailer even with open windows and ceiling fans
