Yes, 90% of all deadbolts can be lock bumped. I am surprised more people don't know about this.

Or someone can stuff paper in the hole and the bolt won't go all the way in, someone did this at a place where I worked.

LOL ~ wasn't he talking about killing the perp himself when he said he didn't care if it was recorded? He sure was angry and what he said sounded so spontaneous that there's no way I think he was involved. MOO
Yup...exactly.

Shadow, by any chance did you get the owners name, and by any chance did you check the sex offenders list to see if the owner of all the properties is on it?

Not yet. I did look to see if he had any records in Putnam but the site was locking up on me. maybe they do maintance on weekends when the court is closed.

I wonder if Ronald kept his gun in the house or with him in the car? He has a Baretta, IIRC. The turning on the light thing makes me think that IF it was an intruder, he sure wasn't worried about maybe being seen OR shot!

I am also wondering if there is a landline phone there or if they do as many young people do and only have a cell phone? Did she have a cell phone so she would have a way to call 911 should there be an emergency? Evidently, she called 911 on Ronald's phone because I believe that during the 911 call he said something to the effect about hanging up since 'they' were not coming. FWIW, I don't think the GF even has access to a phone until Ronald got home regardless of the fact that he said the GF called him as he was pulling in the driveway and asked why she was calling him - to call 911. I am going to get the cell phone number from the incident report and see what I can come up with - if anything. The smallest omission of the truth would alert LE.

In the rural south, I think you'd be careful going into somebody else's house.

When I lived there most homes didn't have just one gun. Who in there right mind would turn the light on while intruding? Girls know how to shoot too.

The marriage record is in a PDF file, and I've got the PDF file saved, but don't know how I can copy it to this thread.

The marriage record only gives her maiden name, and doesn't list parents names. They were married in Glen St. Mary in 2002. The witnesses to the marriage were: Virgil JOHNS junior and Marilen C. JOHNS!

Do this:

1. Open up the PDF File and go to where it says her maiden name.

2. Press "Print Scr" on the keyboard.

3. Open up paint

4. Go up to edit and click on "Paste"

5. Go up to File and Click on Save As

6. Click on drop down menue and go to "JPEG"

7. Click on Save

8. Go to www.tinypic.com

9. click on browse then go to where you saved the photo click on the photo

10. Click on upload and once that is done just copy the

whether people mean it or not, it comes down to sounding like if you aren't a civic leader, affluent, educated, articulate, white collar, live in a nice house, in town suburbanites, you aren't fit to raise kids.

If the father, girlfriend, neighbor, etc. IS guilty, they should be guilty becuase they are guilty, not becuause of how they live.

Being poor isnt a crime, BUT it can sadly affect how you have to live to a great degree. That doesn't make everyone bad. You can also have a record, but be a reasonable parent.

I am southern, am not wealthy, did not go to college, am a recovering heroin addict with a police record. But none of my crimes or life style choices have involved children, hurting other people, etc. Until I moved last year I regularly babysat my friends two daughters, even during a period of time I was on monitored house arrest. I watched those girls like hawks. Their mother trusted me with them more than she trusted her ex husband, whom she had joint custody with.

Carla posters w concerns re priorities, modeling, values, examples and activities of 'adults' in Haleigh's or any other children's lives including myself have repeatedly said this is NOT at all what "we" mean.

These files (images) you have are on your C: drive and they will need to be uploaded to Photobucket or another photo hosting site. Then you can copy the IMG code....

PM me if you want some help doing that....

I have a photobucket account.......and the PDF file is in "My Documents", so I'll try uploading it to the Photobucket and see if I can put it here. Will PM you if it doesn't work. :)

I've seen this posted 2 times now. ""..Roger at MKII Systems ran that video interview through the EPG software (e-polygraph) snipped

I've never heard of this organization and it's capabilities, interesting. I sure hope it's not true that they were involved, but it's as possible as anyother theory, and they had opportunity more so than anyone else.

This possible John's connection with the grandmother Marie and maiden name and this relative being a rso, how does this come into play? Are we thinking he has seen Haleigh in the past and possibly stalked and planned this abduction? Just wondering what the big deal is, I'm missing something as usual.

I know he has already been discussed and don't want to go in circles, but he was updated parole on 2/8/2009 iirc. Just freaks me out...

Do we know the name of Nancy Griffis' father? I am narrowing down the Johns families in the area and it's looking like she and KJ could be brother and sister

I have a Ruby (82), Virgil (64), and Marilyn (55) all at the same address in Glen Saint Mary Florida.

In an attempt to bring the uttterly useless debate under control:

What theories do we have so far?
1. Father took her somewhere alive to keep her away from mother and family.
2. Father snapped and killed her for what ever reason before he left and had gf clean up the mess.
3. Father snapped and killed her for what ever reason and gf knows nothing about it.
4. One of the 44 registered sex offenders in the 2 surrounding counties took her for their own purposes.
5. Mother took her either out of a twisted sense of love or to get out of her child support obligation...or even for spite.
6. Complete stragner abduction...albeit an inept, very lucky stranger.
7. Haleigh wandered off on her own sometime during the night and is either deceased in the water or woods or is alie somewhere wandering lost.
8. Stranger abduction due to drug debts or gambling debts from the side of the grandparents or parents.
9. Abduction by member's of gf's family for unknown reasons.
10. Abduction by mother's family either with or without mother's knowledge.

Are there any I missed, barring alien abduction and black holes?

OR...
Haleigh wandered off alone sometime during the DAY, and dad and gf are not being truthful re last time they saw her.

Does that mean he would kill his own child?
I think the circumstances under which Haleigh went missing and the "stories" are suspicious.

But, being a lawbreaker doesn't mean you would kill. There is no motive. Haleigh was a financial asset.

I can see either the father OR the girlfriend losing their temper. IF the backdoor was usually deadbolted, people from the outside couldn't plan-in-advance to break in.

JMO

(bold mine) No being a lawbreaker, drug user OR womanbeater doesn't mean you would kill your child. But it sure doesn't sound like a safe home for Haleigh to me. JMO

Wow. Great idea!

Bolded by me.

With his record, how does he have a gun? I realize FL is a bit lighter than NC on gun laws, but, he is a previous felon.

So an intruder is gonna think...gosh Ronald won't have a gun, he's a felon?

How would an intruder know before entering that mobile home that the person sleeping in the master bedroom wouldn't have a loaded pistol close?

There should be something for the exhaust fan from the kitchen coming out of the roof.

how old are they? Isn't she like 48 and KJ like 38? I don't remember. Wow - brother and sister! That would surely facilitate that KJ does know and has met Haleigh many times.
