Hypothetical time line:

Dad picks up Haleigh from the bus stop and takes her home

Dad goes to work

Gf is at home with the kids and puts them down at 2000

Gf saw her sleeping at ten

Gf gets up at 0300 to use the restroom, notices door ajar and Haleigh is gone

Gf calls Dad just as he is getting home at 0337... just as he is pulling in the driveway

Gf tells Dad that the door is open and his daughter is gone

Gf calls 911 with Dad ranting in background. Phone is hung up

911 calls Gf back again. Gf does not know exact weight or height of child. Phone is hung up again.

LE interviews Dad and Gf. Both take polys. Allegedly both have passed.

44 RSOs live with in a five mile radius of Haleigh's home. Le is tracking each and every one of them. Some are also self reporting.

Many leads are coming in to LE. Some have involved vehicles and the possibility of a mobile offender. All leads are being followed.

LE states at a presser that if they truly thought at that time Haleigh was in the water the media could expect to see much more activity than what there currently is.

LE states that the dogs that tracked Haleigh's scent (blood hounds Iirc) could have been following skin cells that blew toward the water after bringing her blanket outside for the dogs to mark (it was very windy per Le).. per le..."a few of the dogs" tracked to the river.

Haleigh's mother and maternal grandmother arrive.

Local le is working with three volunteer search groups to help them search. some of them, per le, could be arriving to camp out tonight, 11 feb, to get ready for searches possibly starting tomorrow and friday

feel free to add or subtract to this... I figured it would help to get a timeline going

I just added some more of what I jotted down from the presser earlier

What did he say....?

For her safe return, A tip leading to an arrest,....How did he out it?

I am pretty sure it was for safe return within a certain amount of time.

At this point this abduction seems like a stranger abduction probably a sex offender. God forbid but it does.

Looking that way, if they rule the GF out.
IMO

You can't rule out other family members or people in their circle yet. If there were cinder blocks in the back that dad was unaware of...maybe one of the other family members or friends had been out there at one time or another.

I would like to know who the big, older man is with his mother in that photo at the vigil. I don't have the link off hand tho. He is standing right behind her with his hand on her shoulder. (Kind of a gruff looking fella in that photo.)

Planning is involved in these searches. Tim will have to meet with LE and devise a plan.

Oh man .. I know BUT, I'd be LIVID ... I couldn't just WAIT .. I'd be out searching day and night, catch an hour nap here and there ... and go again.

Boston..........Panthera corrected me.......the apt was a first-floor apt. NG interviewed Melinda Ducket and asked some tough questions, and Melinda committed suicide, the next day I believe.

Thanks,

I remember hearing about her suicide but not many details about the case.

I think her family tryed to sue Nancy too...!

Maybe Tim can talk to the father and warn him about KFN...or get M.N. to do it. Someone needs desperately to step in.

Investigators ruled out an abduction secondary to a custody dispute http://www.wesh.com/news/18681356/detail.html

relatives of the girl said they don't think they're getting the full story from the father's 17-year-old girlfriend.

From what I know, Tim & Lisa are flying in tonight. A small crew is leaving TX tonight in the mobile command center so they wont be in until sometime tomorrow. It would standard for Tim to meet with LE & probably family, scout areas, set up command center, get the volunteers organized. I wouldnt be surprised to see a small scale search done before Friday but I do think it will take the next 24 hrs to get it all set up. These searches are a big deal with a lot of planning & scouting ahead of time.

:( I know ... I'm just feeling so anxious for them, I feel as if it's me ... and I KNOW I'd be going crazy!

The locals and family members don't have to wait to search. There would be no reason to wait if you are already there. Not everyone can buy a same day/next day airline ticket. It takes some time to mobilize the troops.

This could be true.

BUT, I wonder...didn't I read that they hadn't lived there very long? Just a few months? That would mean that people who are close enough to the family that they would have visited in the last few months, and gone in the backyard (where even dad rarely went). I'm just not sure about this...you could very well be right though, obviously.

Also, at this moment, for some reason I'm not feeling like the girlfriend had anything to do with it (unless she just happened to leave the house, and leave them alone, or otherwise not watching them, which I feel is very possible.) I really feel like this was a stranger. I mean, I guess if it was an accident, and the girlfriend panicked, I can't see her using a door to exit that she never really used before. Also she would have had to hide the daughter, in the dark, after 11 (unless something happened during the day, in which case hopefully the younger sibling would be able to provide some information about whether or not Haleigh went to bed at the same time, etc.)

Just not sure what to think about that.

I would too, and although I think that LE does asks the parents not to set out on foot to search themselves, they would have to lock me up before I could just sit around and wait for news. I would have to be out banging down doors..

Not to mention he is probably not experienced in having cameras and lights shoved in his face and having to address the entire world. I probably wouldn't be looking straightforward either.

I know that when you are in front of the camera doing an interview it is difficult because they want you to look at the camera but you want to look at the person near the camera so it will make it appear as if you are not looking into the camera or making eye contact........it is a very unnatural and uneasy feeling. I am leaning towards the hinky meter being set of by the GF because she is lying, but I am not sure she is lying about the disappearance itself. More likely that she wasn't there and she has no clue when she dissappeared.

I hope so, SS. KFN has no business there AT ALL!

I totally agree with this. I don't think she intentionally hurt Haleigh, but I really feel like she could be lying about what exactly happened...times, having someone over, leaving them alone, etc.

MN could do it in a way which would not allow a legal backlash from KFN, imo. ;)

You could very well be right. If she staged it and the father wasn't aware of the cinder block being near the house...then is it logical she would know where to find one in the heat of the moment if she had done something?
